摘要: Provided is a coupling structure for vacuum exhaust devices each including a pump chamber and a casing that demarcates the pump chamber. The coupling structure includes a first end surface formed on a first side of the casing, and a second end surface formed on the second side of the casing, the second side being the opposite side of the first side. The casing of a first vacuum exhaust device and the casing of a second vacuum exhaust device among a plurality of vacuum exhaust devices are arranged to be directly superposed on each other such that the first end surface provided to the first vacuum exhaust device and the second end surface provided to the second vacuum exhaust device come into contact with each other. By fastening the first end surface and the second end surface, the first vacuum exhaust device and the second vacuum exhaust device are connected to each other such that gas can flow between the casing of the first vacuum exhaust device and the casing of the second vacuum exhaust device.

摘要: In fluid flow measurement applications, apparatus and associated systems, computer program products, and methods may include a positive displacement fluid flow meter having an actuator to control fluid flow through the meter, and further having two or more rotating members with substantially parallel axes that rotate in response to the actuator and to fluid flow through the meter. In various implementations, the actuator may promote and/or retard a fluid flow being measured through the meter. In some examples, the fluid flow meter may operate as a pump to controllably increase a line pressure, controllably regulate a fluid flow rate by opposing rotation of the rotating members, substantially stop a fluid flow, and/or reverse a base fluid flow direction. In an illustrative example, the meter may operate to accurately monitor and control fluid flow (e.g., fluid pressure, velocity, and/or volume) before, during, and/or after a line break.

摘要: A roots-type fluid machine including a set of rotors and a rotor housing is disclosed. The rotor housing accommodates the rotors and has a suction space. The set of rotors mesh with each other and rotate in the rotor housing so that fluid is drawn into the suction space and discharged from the rotor housing. Each of the set of rotors includes a tooth having a twisted portion and a different shape variation portion. The twisted portion has a twist angle that changes linearly or non-linearly about a rotation axis of the corresponding rotor with respect to the variation of the position in the direction of the axis. The different shape variation portion has a twisted angle that changes by a smaller degree than the variation of the twist angle of the twisted portion.

摘要: A rotary device has a first rotor having a recess and a second rotor counter-rotatable to the first rotor and having a radial lobe. A housing in which the rotors are enclosed has a first arcuate recess, an edge of the recess of the first rotor forming a sliding seal with the first arcuate recess during a portion of the rotation of the first rotor. The housing has a second arcuate recess, the lobe of the second rotor forming a sliding seal with the second arcuate recess during a portion of the rotation of the first rotor. Thus, for a portion of the rotation of the rotors, there is defined between the first and second rotors and the arcuate recesses of the housing a transient chamber of volume which progressively decreases on rotation of the rotors. The maximum volume of the transient chamber can be varied.

For a buffer of a higher output fluid pressure, a balancing chamber is formed between the bore portion and a fluid outlet so that a fluid suddenly increased with fluid pressure may be backflowed into the bore portion through a plurality of holes formed in a partition plate between the chamber and the bore portion for preventing water or air hammer when handling high-pressure fluid.

摘要: A casing (10) is formed with two cylinder chambers (21, 22) in overlapping arrangement between an inlet (43) and an outlet (44). A rotary piston (27, 28) each is fixed to a respective one of two shafts (17, 18) extending through a cylinder chamber (21, 22) each and being interconnected for rotation in opposite sense. The rotary pistons (27, 28) are complementary and each have an exterior face (29, 30) coaxial with the corresponding shaft (17, 18), the exterior faces periodically forming sealing zones with the casing (10) and with a respective exterior face (38, 37) of respective sleeve (35, 36) each which is coaxial with the shaft (18, 17) of the complementary rotary piston (28, 27). Each sleeve (35, 36) is sealingly arranged and rotatable between a respective one of the rotary pistons (27, 28) and the corresponding shaft (17, 18). The exterior faces (29, 30) of each complementary rotary piston periodically engage the exterior faces (37, 38) of each sleeve to periodically drive in rotation each sleeve (35, 36) at a speed greater than that of the corresponding rotary piston (27, 28) and shaft (17, 18). In this manner flow losses and control problems caused by the same are largely avoided.
