摘要： The present invention provides a connector assembly allowing attachment of a connector to a connector receptacle with a limited attachment space. The connector assembly includes the connector having a terminal and a connector housing, the connector receptacle having a case and a terminal portion, and a fastening member. The terminal has an electrical contact portion with a hole. The connector housing has a column portion for receiving the electrical contact portion with the hole aligned in an insertion direction of the connector. The terminal portion has a connection portion to be superposed with the electrical contact portion and has a second hole to be communicated with the hole. The case has a housing portion for supporting the connection portion so that the second hole of the connection portion is aligned with the insertion direction of the connector. The electrical contact portion and the connection portion are fastened together with the fastening member passed through the communicated hole and the second hole.

摘要： Electric submersible well pumping systems operable in well temperatures of above about 180° C. (356° F.) utilize high temperature electrical insulation. The electrical insulation includes E-base polyimide films or perfluoropolymer TE films on various components. The insulation films are employed around magnet wires that are threaded through slots in the stator. Slot insulation of E-base polyimide or perfluoropolymer TE film surrounds the magnet wires in the stator slots. Sheets of E-base polyimide or perfluoropolymer TE film extend around and between phase loops of the magnet wire at the lower end of the stator. The motor contains a PAO oil having additives to dissipate acid generated by epoxy used in the motor.

The shield cover defines a cavity and an opening into the cavity and has a base panel with a base panel hole formed therethrough. The terminal unit has a first terminal unit mounting block having a first terminal unit mounting block hole, a second terminal unit mounting block having a second terminal unit mounting block hole, a first terminal assembly and a second terminal assembly. The first and second terminal unit mounting blocks are connected together in a stacked manner and are disposed in the cavity. With the first terminal unit mounting block hole, the second terminal unit mounting block hole and the base panel hole being in registration with one another, the fastener structure extends therethrough from the base panel and projects outwardly from the opening.

A lance (19) is formed inside the first housing (10A) and locks the female terminal (14) in the cavity (12). The lance (19) can deform elastically in the flexibility allowance space (22) to unlock the female terminal (14). A retainer projection (34) is provided in a second housing (30A) and projects along a fit-in direction of the first and second housings (10A, 30A). The retainer projection (34) penetrates into the flexibility allowance space (22) as the first and second housings (10A, 30A) are fit together to prevent the lance (19) from flexing in an unlocking direction.
