摘要: A power conversion system includes: a main battery configured to be recharged with power and to supply the recharged power to a motor, thereby supplying rotation force to a wheel of a vehicle; an auxiliary battery configured to recharge the main battery or to assist a power supply function of the main battery; and a power converter connected to auxiliary battery, the power converter comprising a bypass circuit and a buck converter. The buck converter includes a buck switch, and is configured to convert a voltage of the auxiliary battery into a voltage for recharging the main battery in accordance with an ON/OFF switching operation of the buck switch.

Each controllable unit may be switchably activated or deactivated in the overall battery circuit, and one or more conditions of each controllable unit may be individually measured. Various techniques are disclosed for operating the battery control system to optimize or improve system performance and longevity.

摘要: A method and a device for balancing a battery state are provided, in which the method includes executing a battery capacity balancing of a plurality of battery packs when voltage information of the plurality of battery packs is open circuit voltages or when balanced voltages of the plurality of battery packs are on the same curve fragment, such that balanced capacities of the plurality of battery packs can be calculated via aging voltage compensation parameters and/or aging capacity compensation parameters of the plurality of battery packs, and a capacity adjustment can be performed according to the balanced capacities. Therefore, the battery capacity balancing can be performed by obtaining voltages in different states, and the battery capacity of each battery pack can be accurately adjusted to achieve balance among the battery packs by taking the aging parameters of the battery packs into consideration.

摘要: A closed loop control system actively regulates the battery current paths of physically separated circuits so that the current is approximately the same for each of the circuits regardless of the various system loads. The closed loop control system modulates the current paths by either modulating a high side transistor used to independently limit each battery's current path or by modulating a DC/DC converter's output voltage to independently boost each battery's current path. The closed loop control system is also designed to handle undervoltage lockout (UVLO) situations when one of the batteries is nearing empty to tilt the power balance in the chance that there is an existing battery charge mismatch to support system load bursts and to turn off the circuit when the system current draw is exceptionally low. A tilting circuit also identifies and discharges the battery with the higher charge until the charge states are substantially equal.

摘要: The invention provides a battery equipment discharge balancing method, wherein a battery module of the battery equipment includes a plurality of battery blocks connected in parallel, and each battery block includes a plurality of battery cells connected in series. During the discharging process, the voltage of each battery cell is measured to generate a plurality of battery cell voltages. When any one of battery cell voltages reaches a cut-off discharge voltage, it is determined that the battery module is fully discharged. Thereafter, a minimum battery cell voltage in each battery block is obtained respectively to generate a plurality of cut-off battery cell voltages. The discharge ratio of each battery block in the next discharge process is adjusted according to the cut-off battery cell voltages respectively, so as to increase the discharge capacity and service life of the battery module.

摘要: A storage battery control device for controlling a power storage system including storage battery modules and a bypass circuit executes a first process of causing the storage battery modules to discharge while switching the storage battery modules caused to be bypassed by the bypass circuit so as to reduce a difference between remaining discharge amounts until discharge completion of the storage battery modules; and a second process of completing the discharge of the storage battery modules after the first process. The first process is executed until an OCV or an SOC of the storage battery modules decreases to be equal to or smaller than a threshold value of the OCV or the SOC set for the storage battery modules. The first process is executed so that available output power of the storage battery module caused to discharge does not fall below minimum necessary power of a power supply destination.

摘要: An electrical combination including a power tool and a battery pack. The power tool includes power tool terminals. The battery pack is configured to be interfaced with the power tool. The battery pack includes a battery pack housing, at least three terminals, and a plurality of battery cells. The battery pack terminals include a positive terminal, a negative terminal, and a sense terminal. The at least three terminals are configured to be interfaced with the power tool terminals. The plurality of battery cells are arranged within and supported by the battery pack housing. Each of the battery cells has a lithium-based chemistry and a respective state of charge, and power is transferable between the battery cells and the power tool. A circuit is configured to monitor the battery cells, detect a charge imbalance among the battery cells, and prevent the battery pack from operating when the charge imbalance is detected.
