摘要: A battery charging system for charging a battery of a portable device includes: a power supplier, generating a power supplier output voltage and a power supplier output current; and a charging circuit, dynamically updating an over-voltage protection threshold and/or an over-current protection threshold based on a charging current, a battery cell charging voltage and an equivalent impedance of a charge path. The power supplier output current and/or the over-voltage protection threshold and/or the over-current protection threshold are time-varying during the battery is charged. The power supplier performs over-voltage protection and/or over-current protection based on the over-voltage protection threshold and/or the over-current protection threshold from the charging circuit.

摘要: An emergency lighting device for controlling a lighting means includes an energy store, such as a battery or an accumulator, a charging circuit for the energy store having connections for an AC voltage (alternating voltage), the charging circuit has a potential isolation element, a potentially isolated clocked converter supplied from the energy store and having a switch, preferably a flyback converter. The converter can be supplied only by the energy store, a control circuit for controlling the switch, and a supply path from the secondary side of the converter to connections for the lighting means.

摘要: A user device can include a first battery configured to power the user device and a second battery configured to power the user device. The user device can further include a temperature sensor configured to monitor a temperature of the second battery and a heating element configured to heat the second battery to increase an operating efficiency of the second battery when a temperature of the user device falls below a threshold temperature value. A switch can be configured to switch on the heating element to heat the second battery when the temperature sensor determines that the second battery is below a threshold temperature value.

摘要: A battery management system of a vehicle is provided to prevent a lithium battery from being overcharged and over-discharged and to safely protect the lithium battery from various conditions degrading the lithium battery when the lithium battery is used as a low-voltage battery in the vehicle. The battery management system includes a relay that electrically connect and disconnects power supplied to a load from a battery and a reconnection switch that determines a connection state based on user manipulation and generates a signal for turning the relay on and off based on the connection state. Additionally, a controller turns the relay on and off based on the connection state of the reconnection switch.
