    Abstract: An electronic device sends a wireless signal to a charging station indicating that charging of a battery of the electronics device is to commence. The electronic device generates a profile representing characteristics of the battery during charging. The electronic device sends a wireless signal to the charging station indicating the first type of charging is to be applied to the battery. The electronic device responds to a determination that charging of the battery is to continue by determining a second type of charging to be applied to the battery. The electronic device determines whether charging of the battery is to continue. In response to a determination that charging of the battery is not to continue, the electronic device sends a wireless signal to the charging station indicating that charging of the battery is to cease.

    Abstract: An animated battery charging assembly provides a charging dock for dual purposes of charging a battery for an electrical device, and providing an entertaining indicator of a power level for the battery during the charging through the use of an animated model that articulates in correlation to the power level of battery. The charging dock charges a battery for an electrical device. The charging dock also supports an attached model that depicts a character, like a fictional or real character capable of animation, audio, and illumination. A fan cools the electrical device during charging, and enhances an animation effect of the animated model. An amount of energy remaining in the battery of the electrical device during charging is depicted as a power level. The model articulates limbs, garment, and accessories in correlation to power level. Software communicates the power level pertinent to the animated model for an appropriate articulation.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for managing wiredly and wirelessly charging at least one of a fixed, portable and wearable computing and communications device. The method may comprise wirelessly charging a first of the at least one of fixed, portable and wearable computing and communications device serving as sink consuming power, when subjected to charging, using a wireless receiver detachably coupled to a smart adaptor subsystem via a first pair of magnetic connectors, detachably magnetically coupling a USB cable via second and third pairs of magnetic connectors correspondingly to a second of the at least one of fixed, portable and wearable computing and communications device serving as source supplying power, when subjected to charging, and the smart adaptor subsystem for facilitating wiredly charging the first of the at least one of fixed, portable and wearable computing and communications device, upon detachably magnetically coupling the USB cable, generating a cable detection signal using at least one of the wireless receiver and smart adaptor subsystem, upon successfully detecting the USB cable, generating an enable signal facilitating initiation of the smart adaptor subsystem using at least one of the wireless receiver and smart adaptor subsystem and upon generating the enable signal, automatically disabling the wireless receiver using the smart adaptor subsystem, thereby facilitating wiredly charging the first of the at least one of fixed, portable and wearable computing and communications device.
