摘要: A power conversion system including a triple active bridge (TAB) is provided. The system includes a power factor correction (PFC) module and a three port converter (TPC) module, with no post-regulation or additional stages required. The TPC module includes an OBC full-bridge and an APM full-bridge, each being inductively coupled to the output of the PFC full-bridge, thereby forming the TAB. The OBC full-bridge is adapted to convert an AC input into a high-voltage DC output for a high-voltage battery, and the APM full-bridge is adapted to convert an AC input into a low-voltage DC output for a low-voltage battery. The power conversion system can accept a single-phase AC input and a three-phase AC input, has a lower current stress as compared to prior art TPCs, and freely transfers power from among any ports.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for low power excitation of wireless power transmitters configured to transmit high power. The exemplary systems and methods include disabling a power factor correction circuit of the transmitter, and adjusting one or more variable impedance components of the impedance network to obtain a minimum attainable impedance. The variable impedance components can be configured to operate between the minimum attainable impedance and a maximum attainable impedance. The systems and methods can include adjusting a phase shift angle associated with one or more transistors of the inverter and driving the transmitter such that the transmitter resonator coil generates a magnetic flux density less than or equal to a field safety threshold.

A second converter circuit is positioned at least partially within the chassis and is coupled to the high-voltage DC bus to a low-voltage DC bus. The low-voltage DC bus is connected to the low-voltage DC connector.

In one example, the UPFC comprises a closed-loop control for regulation of an input current from a power grid in accordance with a reference variable for the input current. The UPFC is configured to determine amplitudes of frequency components of the input current, and establish a phase angle of the reference variable in dependence of a phase angle of a fundamental frequency component of an input voltage from the power grid and of the amplitudes of the frequency components.

摘要: A multiphase interleaved forward power converter includes an inductor and first and second subconverter comprising respective transformers. The converter also includes first and second drives configured to respectively operate the first and second subconverters with cycling periods comprising a conduction period, a reset period, and an idle period. The first and second drives are also configured to phase shift the cycling periods in each subconverter such that the conduction period of the subconverter is at least partially complementary to the idle period of the other subconverter. The second drive also clamps a voltage across a winding of the transformer of the first subconverter to substantially prevent a first resonance voltage from propagating in the first subconverter during the idle period of the first subconverter.

摘要: A vehicle includes an electric power converter; an electric power storage device; a control unit. The control unit is configured to i) increase command electric power stepwise by a specified reference amount toward target electric power, ii) after the command electric power reaches the target electric power, reduce the command electric power each time a voltage of the electric power storage device exceeds a first threshold voltage, and iii) stop supply of electric power from an external power supply when the voltage of the electric power storage device reaches a second threshold voltage that is higher than the first threshold voltage. The specified reference amount is set such that an increased amount of the voltage of the electric power storage device at each step of increasing the command electric power is smaller than a voltage difference between the second threshold voltage and the first threshold voltage.

The controller is operable to control the PFC stage and the DC/DC converter to operate in (i) a pre-charge mode in which the DC link capacitor is pre-charged using electrical power from the traction battery and (ii) a stable operation mode in which the traction battery is charged using the AC power from the mains supply.

The external voltage comprises a voltage sent from a wireless luminaire controller, which comprises a wireless module and a meter and control unit. The wireless luminaire controller is configured to receive commands from the wireless module, to control the LED luminaire, and to measure in response to the commands.

摘要: A circuit includes a power supply circuit and a ripple reduction circuit. The power supply circuit supplies a Direct Current (DC) lighting current to a light emitting circuit. The lighting current has a ripple current at a ripple frequency. The ripple reduction circuit receives the lighting current, and performs, based on the received lighting current, Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) of the lighting current at a PWM frequency. The PWM frequency is higher than the ripple frequency. By performing the PWM, the ripple reduction current reduces variations in a magnitude of the lighting current at the ripple frequency. The PWM frequency may be higher than a frequency at which variations in the magnitude of the light produced by the lighting circuit have a harmful effect on the human eye.
