Abstract:
A secured party audio and audio/video communication system and method providing administration, management and control that includes a portable secured communication device in possession solely of a secured party positioned in a secured environment, the portable secured communication device being exclusive to the secured party and communicatively connectable only to a secured connection management system, in a secured connection management system hosting a secured communication device interface, hosting a remote communication device interface, storing in the database information related to the secured party, the portable secured communication system, and the external party, at least one of which includes a predetermined connection parameter, creating the selective communication between the portable secured communication device and only the remote communication device response to the stored database information and controlling a duration of the communication as a function of the predetermined connection parameter as stored in the database.
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and computer program product for protecting privacy of a customer and an agent using face recognition in a video contact center environment is presented. A video call is initiated by a customer to a contact center. The customer video is muted while audio of the customer is provided to an agent of the contact center. A determination is made regarding whether a face is present in a video image of the customer. When a presence of a face is determined in the video image of the customer, then video of the customer is enabled. When a presence of a face is not present in the video image of the customer then the customer is notified so the customer can take appropriate action.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus in which a wireless communication unit receives an identifier through a first connection from a communication apparatus. A remote apparatus is located based on the identifier so that the information processing apparatus can receive images through a second connection from the remote apparatus. An interface unit connects to a display for sending images received through the second connection to the display.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for voice and video messaging are provided here. In some embodiments a method for voice and video messaging may include establishing a telecommunication session with a calling device associated with a first user in response to an indication that a call request from the calling device directed to a called identifier associated with a second user failed, providing to the calling device an option to leave a video message and an option to leave an audio message, receiving a selection from the calling device indicating the selection of the option to leave a video message, disconnecting the established telecommunication session, and receiving a video message from the calling device.
Abstract:
A mobile device and method for a messenger-based video call service using camera preview image and voice information are provided. In the method, the mobile device displays a camera preview screen by executing a camera, and detects an input for selecting one or more sharers for a video call from the camera preview screen. Then, the mobile device executes a messenger for providing the video call service, transmits a connection request to the selected sharers through the messenger, and performs the messenger-based video call with the sharers in response to the connection request.
Abstract:
A system for and method for provisioning video ring back tones (vRBTs) is presented. The system may include one or more network enabled computers configured to receive video content from one or more parties over a network. The video content may be used to create one or more vRBTs. The vRBTs may be associated with one or more subscriber profiles. The vRBTs may be assigned to one or more parties. When a party attempts to place a video call to a subscriber, the vRBT may be played back on the calling party's video-equipped device until the subscriber answers the call, ignores the call, or sends the call to voicemail.
Abstract:
A communication system particularly for managing voice, video and data services between the station of an operator and the station of a user, the system including at least one device controlled by the operator to receive telephone calls forwarded by a call routing center and at least one unit that is controlled by the user and provided with elements for entering and displaying information and generating telephone calls. The device further includes elements for disabling the audio component of a telephone call generated by the at least one unit and elements for establishing with the unit a video call associated with the telephone call.
Abstract:
A method and an electronic device are provided for simultaneously outputting different audios with directionality. The method includes outputting a first audio, and when a request to output a second audio is detected, changing at least one attribute value of the first audio and the second audio and outputting the first audio and the second audio.

Abstract:
A gateway apparatus arranged between the mobile circuit switched network and the mobile IMS network, includes a call control unit which converts a control signal output from the mobile circuit switched network into at least one of SIP and SDP to output a signal converted to the mobile IMS network and a conversion unit which receives a line switching protocol for an audio signal output from the mobile circuit switched network. The conversion unit decides, using at least one of SIP and SDP, output from the mobile IMS network and received by the call control unit, on whether the partner terminal is to be connected via the mobile IMS network to the mobile circuit switched network, via the mobile IMS network to a fixed network or via the mobile IMS network to a mobile broadband network, then converts the line switching protocol to one of different protocol, depending on a result of the decision, and outputs the protocol converted signal to the mobile IMS network (FIG. 2).
