    摘要: An automatic video gain adjustment method in which an automatic gain equalizer is used. The method includes steps of: using a processor to read and analyze a video signal and compare the video signal with a standard value to judge whether the video signal matches the standard value; using a gain regulator to automatically adjust the amplitude of the video signal in case the video signal fails to match the standard value, the gain regulator then generating an adjusted video signal; and using the processor to receive the adjusted video signal and transmit the adjusted video signal to a remote-end receiving device. By means of the automatic video gain adjustment method, the video signal can be automatically and more conveniently adjusted to match the standard value.

    摘要: The present invention relates to method for managing gain value for each channel of a TV set, includes steps: signaling a tuner to receive broadcasting signals of the channel in response to a channel selection command; reading a predetermined gain value of the channel from a setting table; amplifying and outputting audio signals extracted from the broadcasting signals of the channel according to the predetermined gain value of the channel; signaling a gain control unit to adjust a current gain value to an adjusted gain value if receiving a gain adjustment command; amplifying the audio signals of the channel according to the adjusted gain value; calculating an integrated gain value according to the adjusted gain value and the predetermined gain value; and updating the predetermined gain value of the channel using the integrated gain value. The present invention also provides a corresponding TV set.

The analog front-end circuit receives an input signal, adjusts an average amplitude of the input signal, and converts the adjusted input signal to generate a digital signal according to a control signal. The automatic-gain controller is coupled to the analog front-end circuit for generating the control signal feedback to the analog front-end circuit according to the digital signal. The compensation circuit is coupled to the analog front-end circuit for detecting an average amplitude of the digital signal to generate a detecting result and for determining whether to compensate the average amplitude of the digital signal to generate a compensated digital signal according to the detecting result. The demodulator is coupled to the compensation circuit for demodulating the compensated digital signal to generate an output signal.

    摘要: A receiver has an amplifier for amplifying a TV broadcast signal. A mixer mixes the amplified signal with an oscillation signal corresponding to a channel selection signal and generates a low frequency signal. A bandpass filter generates a signal having an amplitude corresponding to the low frequency signal. Electric field intensity filtering circuits filter the low frequency signal. A subtractor calculates a difference between the output from the filtering circuits and the output from the bandpass filter to generate a difference signal which is negatively fed back signal to the amplifier when an amplitude of the difference signal is larger than a predetermined value. The signal from the filtering circuit is the negative feed back signal when the amplitude of the difference signal is not larger than the predetermined value. An AGC signal corresponding to an electric field intensity of the output from the mixer is inputted to the amplifier.
