    摘要: One aspect is an HVAC grid controller that may communicate with local HVAC controllers, wherein the local HVAC controllers control the operation of local HVAC components including an integral electrical storage unit. Thus, the HVAC grid may sends appropriate control signals to local HVAC controllers to, for example, draw power from an electrical storage unit to operate local HVAC components. The local HVAC controller may also be additionally programmable by a user to select a period of time in which the HVAC unit is to be powered by a local electrical storage unit. By using an electrical storage unit to power HVAC components, a utility power provider may better manage load on its electrical grid, and a consumer may avoid peak time-of-use electricity charges.

    摘要: The control device controls facility equipment and includes a receiving unit, first and second decision units and an adjustment control unit. The receiving unit receives time-of-use unit price information of an energy supplied to the facility equipment. The first decision unit decides a first time slot in which an index that includes a factor of an energy unit price approaches a peak in a first period based on the time-of-use unit price information. The second decision unit decides a second time slot prior to the first time slot and a third time slot subsequent to the first time slot in the first period. The adjustment control unit executes an energy adjustment control to adjust an energy consumption of the facility equipment so that an amount of suppression of the energy consumption is higher in the first time slot than in the second and the third time slots.

    摘要: Usage of a utility in a multi-unit building is apportioned to a single unit by measuring the total usage of the utility using a meter unit to produce a total usage measurement, then positioning at least one sensor unit in a single unit of the multi-unit building and monitoring usage of the utility by the single unit using the at least one sensor unit to produce monitoring data. Then a processor unit receives the total usage measurement and the monitoring data and correlates them to generate correlated data. Finally, the processor unit apportions the total usage measurement to the single unit based on the correlated data.
