The combining stage is arranged to receive a plurality of non-overlapping clock signals having a same frequency but different phases, receive a plurality of first input bit streams, and generate a first output bit stream by combining the first input bit streams according to the non-overlapping clock signals. The output stage is arranged to generate an output according to the first output bit stream. A digital signal processing method includes: receiving a plurality of non-overlapping clock signals having a same frequency but different phases; receiving a plurality of first input bit streams; generating a first output bit stream by combining the first input bit streams according to the non-overlapping clock signals; and generating an output according to the first output bit stream.

If the reader/writer fails to decode a signal transmitted with using the one of the FM modulation and the AM modulation, transmission with respect to the information is carried out with using the other of the FM modulation and the AM modulation at the RFID tag. In this manner, reading error of data sent from the RFID tag is prevented.

The apparatus and the method suppress an image frequency component generated due to mismatch of IQ channels in order to transmit/receive a large amount of data without distortion in 4th generation wireless communication standard candidate technologies such as a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system and a mobile WiMax system. The apparatus includes a LOcal frequency (LO) buffer including an amplifier. The LO buffer controls the gain and the phase of the amplifier using a control bit for controlling resistor connection.

On the other hand, at the transmission operation time, the optimum coefficient information found according to the above-mentioned procedure is referenced and the optimum coefficient information of a modulation signal with a wide dynamic range of amplitude signal is found.

The inventive technology allows multiple independent modulated data streams to simultaneously and instantaneously share the same bandwidth without cross-channel interference. A matched filter is used to substantially reduce the error rate and utilizes a unique training method based on performing a spectral response test. An algorithm calculates the effect of the unique characteristics of the communications highway on the transmitted signal and generates an ideal signal stored in the matched filter for comparison with received signals.
