Abstract: A method for wireless communication includes: scheduling, by a wireless station, a first uplink (UL) transmission from a wireless device; determining, by the wireless station, a need for a higher priority uplink transmission that uses resources overlapping with the first UL transmission; determining, by the wireless station, a reference region, within which a UL cancellation indication (CI) is to be applied; determining, by the wireless station, a set of UL resources in the reference region for cancellation, wherein at least a subset of the UL resources in the reference region are interlaced; sending, via a downlink control channel, indication of the determined set of UL resources for cancellation (e.g., by indicating particular interlaces and/or particular Physical Resource Blocks within such interlaces that are to be canceled); and receiving, at the wireless station, the higher priority uplink transmission via at least a subset of the determined set of cancelled UL resources.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for Fifth Generation New Radio (5G NR) frequency range two (FR2) based communications beam management. The UE may configure, via communications with a base station, serving the UE, a group ID for PUCCH resources within a group of PUCCHs, e.g., for FR2 based communications. The UE may receive, from the base station, an update to one or more PUCCH resources within the group of PUCCHs via a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) that may include one of a resource ID indicating an update to a PUCCH resource or the group ID to update the group of PUCCH resources. The UE may update, based on the MAC-CE, the one or more PUCCH resources within the group of PUCCHs.

Abstract: Measurement resources are often limited in 5G and 4G-LTE communications. As a result, SMTC and CSI-RS measurement windows will occasionally be assigned to the same resource elements of a signal frame. This results in a collision that must be resolved, since both measurements cannot be performed simultaneously. The collision can be resolved using restriction, where overlapping resource elements are assigned to either the SMTC or the CSI-RS measurements, or can be resolved using measurement sharing, where overlapping resource elements are divided among the two measurements according to a measurement sharing factor. Various factors, including priority or window periodicity may be taken into account by the measurement rules that dictate collision resolution.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for calculating and compensating for Doppler shift in a high-speed environment. When in a high-speed environment, Doppler shifts on a transmitted radio frequency signal can become extremely large, which may make it difficult or even impossible for a receiving device to accurately decipher the signal. Therefore, embodiments of the present disclosure describe how tracking reference signals can be transmitted from multiple transmission/reception points, and processed by the UE. For example, the TRS transmitted from the TRP can be enhanced to allow for TRS information from two different TRPs. Additionally, or alternatively, a flag can be set within TRS information that identifies it as having originated from either a first TRP or a second TRP. Additionally, the UE can calculate Doppler shift information and report that information back to the base station in a report message, such as an SRS message. In this manner, the base station can precompensate for the Doppler shift.

Abstract: Techniques described herein involve the use of quasi-co-location (QCL) capabilities and spatial relation assumption to enable a UE to designate a single beam for connections with a base station during a physical random access channel (PRACH) procedure. Abstract: A network-controlled repeater (NCR) may receive configuration information from a base station to configure one or more receive (Rx) beams and corresponding time-domain resources for potential reception from one or more user equipments (UEs). Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that schedules a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) in a slot, and on a component carrier (CC) of a plurality of CCs. The PDCCH may include a total downlink assignment index (DAI) and a counter DAI for hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback of the PDSCH. The total DAI may indicate a total number of pairs of CCs and slots for the HARQ-ACK feedback. The UE may encode the HARQ-ACK feedback to include a bit that indicates whether the PDSCH is successfully decoded. A size of the HARQ-ACK feedback may be based on the total DAI, and a position of the bit may be based on the counter DAI.
