    Abstract: A method is disclosed, comprising: receiving a first and a second Internet Protocol (IP) packet at a mesh network node; tagging the first and the second IP packet at the mesh network node based on a type of traffic by adding an IP options header to each of the first and the second IP packet; forwarding the first and the second IP packet toward a mesh gateway node; filtering the first and the second IP packet at the mesh gateway node based on the added IP options header by assigning each of the first and the second IP packet to one of a plurality of message queues, each of the plurality of message queues having a limited forwarding throughput; and forwarding the first and the second IP packet from the mesh gateway node toward a mobile operator core network, thereby providing packet flow filtering based on IP header and traffic type.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for Radio Access Network dynamic functional splits are de-scribed. In one embodiment, a method may be disclosed for Radio Access Network dynamic func-tional splits, comprising: determining, by a user for a RAN, a first split of different functionalities between a central Unit (CU) and a Distributed Unit (DU), the functionalities including a Radio Resource Controller (RRC), a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP), a Radio Link Control (RLC); a Medium Access control (MAC), a Physical Layer (PHY), and a Radio Frequency Unit (RF); and wherein the system is able to provide different splits of the functionalities based on fac-tors such as user count, fronthaul capacity, fronthaul usage, required baseband processing capacity, and latency.

    Abstract: A method for establishing indirect and/or dual connectivity between virtualized 5G gENBs and virtualized 4G eNodeBs for dynamic X2 is disclosed.     Abstract: Systems, methods and computer software are disclosed for providing multi-User Equipment (UE) and multi-message support in tunnel management messages. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed, comprising: determining, for a first node and a second node using GPRS Tunneling Protocol (GTP) tunneling support for UE management, if the first node and the second node support multi-UE messaging; when the first node and the second node support multi-UE messaging, then switching to multi-UE multi-messaging mode wherein a chain of messages are formed; and when at least one of the first node and second node do not support multi-UE messaging, then using conventional tunnel management messaging.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling a handover decision are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising configuring a UE with a first offset and a second offset, the second offset greater than the first offset; instructing the UE to enter a handover decision state upon receiving a first measurement report from a UE indicating that a neighbor cell has a better received signal strength than the serving cell by the first offset; instructing the UE to send periodic measurement reports with signal strength of the serving cell and the neighbor cell; delaying handover decision by remaining in the handover decision state until receiving a second measurement report from the UE; and instructing the UE to hand over to the neighbor cell when the neighbor cell has a better received signal strength than the serving cell than the second offset.
