Abstract: A current-generator circuit includes an output-current generator circuit having a control branch to be coupled to a control current generator and adapted to provide a control current pulse and a driver electrically coupled between the control branch and the output leg. A compensation circuit includes a first compensation branch configured to generate a compensation current pulse that is a function of the control current pulse and a second compensation branch coupled in a current mirror configuration with the first compensation branch to receive the compensation current pulse. The second compensation branch includes a resistive block having an electrical resistance that is a function of a resistance of an output load. The second compensation branch is electrically coupled to the control branch and the driver is electrically coupled to the control branch and to the output leg.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a system includes a slave circuit configured to receive an external clock signal from a master circuit, the slave circuit comprising first and second peripherals configured to receive respective clock signals obtained from the external clock signal, wherein the master circuit is configured to send to the slave circuit the external clock signal according to two different timing modes, wherein the slave circuit comprises a logic circuit configured to provide a locking signal to the first peripheral circuit when the logic circuit detects a given operating mode of the slave circuit, wherein the master circuit is configured to send the external clock signal according to a first timing mode before receipt of the locking signal, and wherein the master circuit is configured, following upon receipt of the locking signal, to send the external clock signal according to a second timing mode different from the first timing mode.

Abstract: An embodiment method comprises receiving a satellite signal in a tracking channel, generating a set of replicas of a pseudo random noise sequence, comprising a punctual replica and a plurality of replicas that are different in time with respect to the punctual replica over a given time spacing, correlating the received signal with each replica to obtain amplitude correlation values, monitoring the tracking channel to detect a spoofed signal by generating a further plurality of replicas of the pseudo random noise sequence having a respective time spacing greater than the given time spacing, correlating the received signal of the tracking channel with each further replica to obtain further amplitude correlation values, calculating a shape anomaly factor based on the further correlation amplitude values, verifying the shape anomaly factor is greater than a given shape anomaly threshold, and signaling detection of a spoofed signal on the tracking channel.

Abstract: An embodiment method for controlling at least one functionality of an electronic device on the basis of a gesture of a user comprises detecting, by a sensor, a variation of electrostatic charge of the user during the execution of the gesture and generating a charge variation signal. The gesture includes moving at least one foot upward and, subsequently, downward. The method further includes, by a processing unit, acquiring the charge variation signal, detecting, in the charge variation signal, a characteristic identifying the gesture of moving the foot upward, detecting, in the charge variation signal, a characteristic identifying the gesture of moving the foot downward, and controlling the functionality of the electronic device only in the event that both the first and the second characteristics have been detected.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling an electronic apparatus on the basis of a value of a lid angle between a first hardware element accommodating a first magnetometer and a second hardware element accommodating a second magnetometer. The method includes acquiring, through the magnetometers, first signals representing an orientation of the hardware elements. A calibration parameter indicative of a condition of calibration of the magnetometers is generated on the basis of the first signals. A reliability value indicative of a condition of reliability of the first signals is generated on the basis of the first signals. A first intermediate value of the lid angle is calculated on the basis of the first signals. A current value of the lid angle is calculated on the basis of the calibration parameter, of the reliability value, and of the first intermediate value, and the electronic apparatus is controlled on the basis of the current value.
