Abstract:
Systems and methods for a virtually coupled modular transportation system. A first module and a second module, in each for transporting a payload, comprise non-physically coupled vehicle sections. In an embodiment, a controller determines a target orientation between modules. In another embodiment, at least one position detection device determines an actual orientation between modules. A motor in at least one module may receive signals from the controller to position the modules in the target orientation. A plurality of wheels on each module may receive an independent amount of torque to position the modules. In another embodiment, at least one module comprises a rechargeable electric motor.

Abstract:
The implementation of “Machine learning and data analysis for RF testing and other hardware testing” can detect and discover RF test failures by analyzing data from RF calibration station. It can dramatically reduce production cost, optimize production line management, reduce field return cost, improve product quality, and increase precision and accuracy of RF stations on production line. Furthermore, this system providers reference for optimizing hardware configure, improve RF design, and discover indirect potential RF issues. At last, it provides a more thorough understanding of the multi-dimensional RF limits system. With the data collected and analyzed after rolling the system to the production line can be used to deliver a more comprehensive spec for better RF quality. This invention is not limited to cellular stations, but also applies to Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC and other RF stations. This system can also be extended to hardware testing stations other than RF stations with some adjustment.
Abstract:
Methods of forming an inductor using dry processes are described. A cavity is laser drilled in an insulator. A first magnetic material layer is printed in the cavity. An Ag conductive ink is printed on the first magnetic material layer and a second magnetic material layer printed on the ink. The ink has a trace sandwiched between the first and second magnetic material layers that provides a majority of the inductance of the inductor. A protective insulating layer protects the second magnetic material layer from a wet chemistry solution when contacts are formed to the ink. The second magnetic material layer and ink are deposited in or on the cavity.
Abstract:
An electronic device may include a substrate, and the substrate may include one or more layers. The one or more layers may include a first dielectric material and one or more electrical traces. A cavity may be defined in the substrate, and the cavity may be adapted to receive one or more electrical components. One or more lateral traces may extend through a wall of the cavity. The lateral traces may provide electrical communication pathways between the substrate and the electrical components.

The present disclosure provides novel oligo phenylene ethynylene (OPE) compounds, methods for synthesizing these compounds, and materials and substances incorporating these compounds. The various OPEs show antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activity.
Abstract:
The invention relates to controlling power consumption of a group of plurality of groups of power consuming devices by determining power consumption control value for controlling power consumption of devices of the group by use of at least one of the following: load shedding flexibility value of at least one group of plurality of groups, wherein the load shedding flexibility value of the corresponding group indicates maximum amount of power, by which power consumption of devices of the corresponding group can be reduced such that minimum power consumption permissible in the corresponding group is maintained; load restoration flexibility value of the at least one group of plurality of groups, wherein the load restoration flexibility value of the corresponding group indicates maximum amount of power, by which the power consumption of devices of the corresponding group can be increased such that maximum power consumption permissible in the corresponding group is maintained.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides novel poly(phenylene ethynylene) (PPE) compounds, methods for synthesizing these compounds, and materials and substances incorporating these compounds. The various PPEs show antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal activity.
