Abstract: This invention relates to a socket assembly for a meter box. The socket assembly comprises a plurality of power line connectors for connection to electric power lines of an electric power line system. The power line connectors are adapted to mate with mating connectors of an electric meter. Each of the power line connectors comprises a jaw, a jaw support, a socket and a current diverter. The jaw support comprises a base and a jaw mount extending up from the base mounting the haw for pivotal movement between open and closed positions. The socket is formed between the jaw and jaw mount for receiving an electrical connector of the electric meter. The current diverter diverts some electric current from the socket along a current path separate from the jaw mount to reduce the amount of current flowing through the jaw mount.

Abstract: An enclosure for electrical equipment includes a plurality of vertical posts having vertical sides, and a plurality of brackets. Abstract: A hanger bar includes a longitudinally elongated body that has a first end region and a second end region. The elongated body is bendable at one or more locations near or within the first end region. Furthermore, the second end region has a mounting flange and a longitudinally flexible area. Abstract: The present invention is directed to a self-contained desoldering gun having a built-in vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is operated by a low voltage electric motor which is electrically connected in at least partial series with a heating tip. According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention a full wave bridge rectifier is used to supply power to the vacuum pump motor and a built-in vacuum pump while using a half-wave bridge rectifier to supply power to the heater. In exemplary embodiments, the vacuum pump is provided for drawing molten solder and when a trigger is activated the motor is subsequently energized and the output of the heating tip is increased.

Abstract: A fuse includes a tube, a pair of blade terminals projecting from opposite ends of the tube, at least one fuse element disposed in the tube and electrically coupled between the terminals, and a pair of metallic end caps disposed on opposite ends of the tube.
