摘要: Techniques are described for detecting when background radiation has impacted a qubit without the need for additional hardware. In particular, a quantum system may operate readout hardware to read the state of a qubit in addition to operating the readout hardware to detect when an impact has occurred. Readouts from impacted qubits can then be ignored during error correction, and those qubits reset for subsequent operations. In some cases, a readout resonator coupled to a qubit can be implemented as a readout resonator with a high kinetic inductance.

摘要: Provided herein are patient-controlled oral liquid-medicine dispenser and deactivation systems. The system includes a dosing container having a defined volumetric capacity and a spillway adapted and configured to allow fluid in excess of the defined volumetric capacity to flow out of the dosing container; a sealed and tamperproof waste receptacle fluidly coupled to the dosing container, the waste receptacle adapted and configured to capture and prevent diversion of liquid medicine dispensed in excess of the defined volumetric capacity of the dosing container; and a suction apparatus extending between a lower region of the dosing container and outside of the dosing container. Also provided herein are methods of administering a medication using the system.

摘要: The description relates to imide-based compounds, including bifunctional compounds comprising the same, which find utility as modulators of targeted ubiquitination, especially inhibitors of a variety of polypeptides and other proteins which are degraded and/or otherwise inhibited by bifunctional compounds according to the present invention. In particular, the description provides compounds, which contain on one end a ligand which binds to the cereblon E3 ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety which binds a target protein such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of that protein. Compounds can be synthesized that exhibit a broad range of pharmacological activities consistent with the degradation/inhibition of targeted polypeptides of nearly any type.
