Abstract: A lock and pin for the structural and fluid tight repair of cracks not amenable to high temperature repairs or synthetic material patches. Fluid tight pins and locks seal the crack while one or more locks prevent the crack from growing. These repairs need to endure the remaining life cycle of the machinery part while withstanding all the strain, pressure, heat and expansion and contraction of the part before the crack(s) were formed. Often these cracks evolved due to engineering design flaws that will require even greater strength from these areas than when new.

Abstract: A fire and disaster evacuation apparatus installed in a high-rise building includes a stationary frame; a front plate; a side plate; a bottom; a locking device; and a lever part, and its width is less than a thickness of an outer wall of the building. The apparatus can be mounted integrally with an outer wall of an apartment or a building and thus it can be mounted without changing the exterior of the building. The apparatus is formed in a thin structure so that it can be mounted at any place as long as an outer wall is 160 mm or more, and is located inside a wall body so that it does not affect the exterior of the building, and so that additional power is not necessary to drive the apparatus.

Abstract: A searching method is applicable to Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network (GPON). The searching method includes: dividing a GPON Encapsulation Mode Port Identifier (GEM Port ID) of a GEM frame into a first portion GEM Port ID and a second portion GEM Port ID; performing a row look-up in a first memory array by using the first portion GEM Port ID, and performing a column look-up in the first memory array by using the second portion GEM Port ID; and identifying a specific bit's position in the first memory array, according to results of the row look-up and the column look-up in the first memory array, wherein the specific bit's position represents a GPON Encapsulation Mode Port (GEM Port) that is used by the GEM frame.
