摘要： A snap-in glass carrier, engageable with a window regulator for snap fitting a door glass having a glass retention hole to the carrier, comprises a carrier base, a regulator attachment extending from the carrier base, a glass retention portion and a finger. The glass retention portion extends from the base spaced from the window regulator portion to define a gap for the glass. The finger, cantilevered from the base, includes a vertical portion extending parallel to the support finger on the same side of the glass as the support finger, a retention tab extending from the vertical portion into the gap that engages the retention hole, a hinge point adjacent to the glass carrier base and located on the same side of the gap as the window regulator attachment, and a spring leg extending through the gap from the hinge point to the vertical portion.

摘要： An expansion valve for an air conditioning system circulates refrigerant through a fixed-displacement compressor, a condenser, and an evaporator. An inlet is provided for receiving refrigerant liquefied in the condenser. An outlet of the expansion valve supplies refrigerant to the evaporator. A valve element controls flow of refrigerant between the inlet and the outlet, wherein the valve element is normally closed. A control assembly is coupled to the valve element and is responsive to at least one temperature or pressure in the air conditioning system to open the valve element to variably meter the refrigerant to the evaporator. A bleed passage bypasses the valve element to conduct refrigerant between the inlet and the outlet. The bleed passage is adapted to bleed refrigerant to the evaporator immediately after the compressor shuts off to prime the air conditioning system for a lower superheat when the compressor turns on, and the bleed path has a flow capacity substantially smaller than the flow capacity of the main valve aperture.

摘要： A switch measurement system is disclosed for measuring characteristics of a switch while the switch is mounted to a product adjacent a product surface. The switch types may include linear, pivot and rotary types. The switch measurement system preferably has a control unit for driving a motor and receiving and storing input from a force or torque sensor. A fixturing setup preferably includes a mounting base, and three legs extending from the mounting base. Each of the legs is selectively adjustable in length and includes an end adapted for mounting against the product surface where the legs can vary the location and orientation of the mounting base relative to the product. Also, a measurement unit includes a motor fixed relative to the mounting base and includes a motor shaft extending therefrom, and a force sensor or a torque sensor, depending upon the switch measurement arrangement, interposed between the motor shaft and the switch. The motor and the sensor are in electronic communication with the control unit.

摘要： A brake system for actuating a pair of front wheel brakes and a pair of second wheel brakes. The brake system includes a reservoir and a brake pedal unit having a housing with first and second pistons slidably disposed in the housing. The first and second pistons are operable during a manual push-through mode by actuation of a brake pedal connected to the brake pedal unit. The first and second pistons are movable to generate brake actuating pressure at first and second outputs for actuating the pair of front wheel brakes and the pair of rear wheel brakes. A first source of pressurized fluid actuates the pair of front wheel brakes and the pair of rear wheel brakes during a non-failure normal braking event. A first electronic control unit controls the first source of pressurized fluid. A second source of pressurized fluid is hydraulically connected to the brake pedal unit and actuates the brake pedal unit to cause movement of the first and second pistons for generating pressure at the first and second outputs. A second electronic control unit, separate from the first electronic control unit, controls the second source of pressurized fluid.

摘要： A motor control circuit for an electric motor of an electric power assisted steering system of the kind in which a measurement of torque carried by a part of the steering system is used to produce a torque demand signal indicative of a torque to be applied to the steering system by the motor. The motor control circuit includes a current controller is responsive to an error signal that represents the difference between a current demand signal and an actual current signal, and a noise reduction circuit adapted to identify an operating condition of the system in which the motor is stationary or rotating at a very low speed, and in the event that the operating condition is identified the noise reduction circuit is adapted to reduce the response of the controller to variations in the error signal.

A polarization system generates multiple states of polarized light which interact with the sample. An analyzer system receives a signal from the sample and generates a secondary signal. This signal is detected and then processed to measure levels of a substance in a sample that may be have time varying birefringent components.
