    Abstract: A sleeve for protecting a lockdown screw of a wellhead assembly can include a body having an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the body has a concave curvature, where the body is configured to be disposed within an upper portion of a recess of a component of the wellhead assembly inside of which the lockdown screw is disposed, where the concave curvature of the body is configured to match that of an inner wall of the component, and where the outer surface is configured to isolate the lockdown screw from an environment in a cavity partially formed by the inner surface when the body is disposed in the upper portion of the recess.

    Abstract: A drill-in fluid composition comprises a base fluid, a viscosifier, a fluid loss control agent, and a blend of calcium carbonate particles having at least two different sizes, wherein at least a portion of the blend of calcium carbonate particles are synthetic calcium carbonate particles formed from captured carbon dioxide. The blend of calcium carbonate particles can include natural calcium carbonate particles. The drill-in fluid composition is used when drilling a well through a formation.

    Abstract: The present application pertains to a methane dehydrogenation process subjecting a methane feed to a novel SiO2 catalyst under dehydrogenation conditions and producing hydrogen, ethylene, an aromatic, or any mixture thereof. In another embodiment, the present application pertains to a novel catalyst for methane dehydrogenation. The catalyst comprises amorphous particles of SiO2. The amorphous particles have a particle size with a nominal diameter of from about 5 nm to 1 cm. The amorphous particles of SiO2 comprise a Lewis acidity sufficient to activate one or more C—H bonds in methane and generate one or more methyl radicals when the catalyst is subjected to methane dehydrogenation conditions. In another embodiment, the present application pertains to method of making the novel catalyst for methane dehydrogenation.
