摘要: A maintenance system and method for maintaining an imaging member of an imaging device includes a pre-cleaning device to clean the imaging member; an applicator to apply release agent to the imaging member; a metering device to meter release agent on the imaging member; a reservoir to remotely store release agent; and a pump to supply the applicator with release agent from the reservoir. The saturation level of the applicator is monitored and maintained within a predetermined range. The applicator, pre-cleaning device and metering device may be independently actuated to engage the imaging member. Release agent collected by the pre-cleaning device and/or metering device may be recycled. Debris collected by the pre-cleaning device and/or metering device may be stored and/or removed.

摘要: Laser scanners are used for determining deformation in vehicle bodies and the like, using a laser scanning apparatus in conjunction with a plurality of coded targets suspended from (or in known relationship to) known reference points on the vehicle to calculate three dimensional spatial coordinates defining the actual positions of the targets, and to compare such calculated positions with manufacturer-provided specification values. The present invention provides improved signal collection through the use of an independent synchronization circuit that uses a fiber optic cable for signal collection; improved component isolation through the use of a mounting plate and isolation mounts; improved component alignment through the use of easier and more reliable alignment mechanisms; and improved data collection and processing through the use of onboard data averaging and filtering.

摘要: A design method for making a bituminous mixture that is used to form a vapor-permeable layer of pavement is provided. This design procedure includes preparing one or more bituminous mixture test specimens, measuring the performance of these specimens, and selecting a desirable bituminous mixture for paving that is vapor-permeable based on the performance of the specimens. Another aspect of the present invention is the selected bituminous mixture, which includes aggregate and a bituminous binder. The aggregate should be selected such that no more than about 5% by mass of the aggregate and preferably no more than about 3.5% by mass of the aggregate is able to pass through a 75 μm sieve. The selected bituminous mixture should have an Air Permeability Value that is at least about 8 cm2 so as to reduce its propensity for blistering during and after construction. Still further, the selected bituminous mixture should have desirable fatigue resistance and should be substantially water-impermeable.

摘要: A door module includes a bracket having a hinge portion which permits alignment of the handle support of the door module with a door shell attachment portion. The hinge portion of the bracket comprises a flexible strip that allows the bracket to flex between a first and installed position. To install the door module, the hinge portion of the bracket is flexed to the first position such that additional clearance is provided between the door module and the door shell. The door module is located in the door shell and aligned with the door shell attachment portion. The hinge portion is released to the installed position and the handle support is secured to an outside handle.

摘要: A system for facilitating marketing dialogues permits multiple instances of multiple scripts to be active at the same time, where each of these dialogues can be at a different place in its script. The dialogues permit interactive communications between the user of the system (such as a marketer) and the user's customers or other participants. Scripts are created using a graphical user interface, in which shapes corresponding to steps in a script are dragged and dropped into a script. Communications can be over a network, by telephone, by mail, or by other means. Overall data from the execution of the scripts can be monitored using another graphical user interface, allowing results and trends to be observed and corrections made to the marketing program. Information regarding the scripts and variables used by the scripts is maintained in a set of tables in one or more databases. A data dictionary provides an interface for data stored in the databases.

摘要: An automated receivables management system that provides a self-service collection environment using an electronic network, such as the Internet or a PCS, as a medium for communication and transaction execution. Comprehensive collections services are provided in a fully automated fashion, including account decisioning, treatment specification, communication channel specification, and communication to the customer and method for payment/response from the customer using the electronic channel. The electronic network operates as a fully-automated electronic receivables environment, providing a medium for notification, receiving funds and customer responses, while allowing the creation of a test and control environment for experimentation on a customer level. Using results from existing policies or strategies, the system matches account performance with account history in order to determine the optimal new strategy for interacting with the respective account(s). This process not only determines the optimal strategy, but can automatically apply the strategy to the account(s) that meets the appropriate criteria. This forms an environment to test new strategies and incorporate new learning in a new strategy creation without human intervention.

摘要: An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for delivery of software. A snapshot module is included to create a snapshot of development software libraries still in a development phase, the development software libraries comprising substantially an entire replacement set of software code. A testing module is included to apply a set of tests to the snapshot to ensure that the snapshot is substantially free from defects and a delivery module delivers the snapshot to a user. The snapshot may be configured for a mainframe computer operating system such that a previous version of the software code is replaced in a single operation. The mainframe computer operating system may be the z/OS operating system.
