    Abstract: A stepping exerciser includes a base having a pair of inclined pivot axles, a pair of foot pedals having one end rotatably attaching to the inclined pivot axles, to allow the foot pedals to be stepped downwardly and outwardly by a user, and a lever rotatably attached to the base and having two ends engaged beneath the foot pedals, to couple the foot pedals together, and to allow one of the foot pedals to be moved upwardly when the other foot pedal is stepped downwardly by the user. The lever includes two pads for engaging with the foot pedals. A resistive device may provide a resistive force against the foot pedals.

The field emission lamp is safe for humans and environmentally friendly, provides a high electrical energy utilization ratio, and has a reduced cost.

    Abstract: A reference leak includes a leak layer formed of one of a metallic material, a glass material, and a ceramic material. The metallic material is selected from the group consisting of copper, nickel, and molybdenum. The leak layer comprises a number of substantially parallel leak through holes defined therein. The leak through holes may be cylindrical holes or polyhedrical holes. A length of each of the leak through holes is preferably not less than 20 times a diameter thereof. A diameter of each of the leak through holes is generally in the range from 10 nm to 500 nm. A length of each of the leak through holes is generally in the range from 100 nm to 100 μm. A leak rate of the reference leak is in the range from 10−8 to 10−15 tor×l/s. The leak through holes have substantially same length and diameter.

    Abstract: An ink cartridge and loading mechanism for ink cartridge are provided. A mounting structure is formed on one side of the ink cartridge. The loading mechanism includes a loading section, a gear set, and a lever set. The loading section has lateral walls and a deck. The gear set is located on one of the lateral walls and has a spur gear and a pinion gear engaged to each other. The spur gear has at least one protrusion inserted into the mounting structure of the ink cartridge. The lever set is connected to the pinion gear for driving the gear set. Therefore, the gear set may change the torque of the protrusion. Then the protrusion may be coupled with the mounting structure to suppress the ink cartridge downward, or to lift the ink cartridge to be removed.

The transmission gear set includes a first gear co-axially connected to an axle of the mandrel, and a second gear is co-axially connected to the coil spring and engaged with the first gear. A resistance gear set is engaged with the first gear and includes a clutch member which disengages the rotational movement of the first gear from the resistance gear set when pulling the hose out from the casing and connects the rotational movement of the first gear to the resistance gear set when retrieving the hose.
