    Abstract: Provided is a fitting for a medical scoping device, the fitting comprising a body defining a longitudinal axis, the body having an interior having an opening to receive an endoscope along the longitudinal axis, the body having a cylindrical portion comprising protuberances being spaced apart and circumferentially arrayed with respect to one another and extending from the cylindrical portion, each of the protuberances having an outer edge to engage tissue, wherein optionally (i) the interior comprises a plurality of raised surfaces disposed thereon; and/or (ii) each protuberance having a bottom surface having a plurality of raised surfaces disposed thereon. Methods of making and using the fitting are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A method for disinfecting a room includes generating a fog from an enclosure having first and second air inlets and an air dispersion outlet including a fan configured to draw air into the enclosure through first and second air inlets and to force air out of the enclosure. A filter assembly is disposed relative to the second air inlet such that air that flows between the exterior and interior of the enclosure through the second air inlet passes through the filter assembly. The method further includes actuating an air intake assembly, activating the fan, actuating the air intake control assembly, and deactivating the fan.

    Abstract: Embodiments of a system and method for endoscope cleaning and inspection are disclosed. In an example, an endoscope cleaning and inspection unit includes cleaning and testing capabilities operated via control equipment and a display screen, to operate leak testing equipment, flush control equipment, and optical inspection equipment for leak testing, flushing, rinsing, and inspection of an endoscope interior chamber (lumen) and exterior surfaces.
