    摘要: A disposable air/water valve for an endoscope, including a shaft having a passage from an opening to a vent. The shaft has grooves and ridges and a protrusion formed at the vent. Seals are set within some of the grooves. An inner ring, having a diaphragm, extends from an outer circumference of the inner ring to an internal circumference of an outer cap. Hinges extend vertically downward from the diaphragm and ribs are formed along the internal circumference of the outer cap. A button cap has an internal ring that securely attaches to the shaft. A resilient member is securely disposed between the button cap and the diaphragm. The outer cap, inner ring, and internal ring of the button cap define a central bore to accommodate the shaft therein.

    摘要: A suction button unit for changeover between a suction source and a suction opening includes a piston chamber extending axially. A suction port hole is formed at a lower end of the piston chamber, for connection with the suction opening. An exhaust port hole is formed in a chamber inner wall of the piston chamber, for connection with the suction source. A piston rod is received in the piston chamber, has a first piston end protruding upwards, for shifting from a first position to a second position upon depression. The exhaust port hole is externally opened in case the piston rod is in the first position, but caused to communicate with the suction port hole in case the piston rod is in the second position. A tilting device tilts the piston rod relative to an axial direction of the piston chamber while the piston rod is in the first position.

    摘要: A Laparoscopic Visualization System comprising a sterile, self-contained, disposable apparatus used in medical procedures for heating and applying an anti-fog solution to the distal end of laparoscopes or surgical devices is presented. It additionally serves as an endoscopic lens protector and cleaner. An efficient heating and narrow range temperature control mechanism is used in combination with an anti-fog solution to provide clear visualization through a distal lens of the surgical device inserted into the system. The configuration prevents the anti-fog solution from spilling out of the system and is designed to also be used as a holder for the surgical scope, protecting the distal lens from impact with a shock absorbent outer shell, prior to, during, and after a medical procedure.
