Abstract:
A module housing is adapted to be inserted into an operating position in the trigger group receiving area of a firearm. The module housing includes at least one pin receiver defined by two openings formed in the module housing, one on each lateral side of the housing. A module pin is received in the pin receiver and at least one trigger group component is mounted or supported for rotation on the module pin. The pin receiver is located on the module housing so as to align with a pin receptacle of the firearm when the module housing is in the operating position. By locating the pin receiver in the module housing so as to align with a corresponding pin receptacle of the firearm when the module housing is in the operating position, the trigger group module and the trigger group components housed in the module housing may be readily supported by the OEM pin receptacle. The trigger group module, pre-assembled with one or more trigger group components, may be inserted to the operating position and then held in place using the OEM pin receptacle.
Abstract:
Apparatus and methods of using the apparatus for manufacturing irregularly shaped and sized products, and in particular cheese irregularly shaped and sized crumbles from cheeses, such as semi-soft cheeses including types of cheddar, mozzarella, Monterey jack, Colby, pepper jack, provolone, Swiss, Mexican cheeses and any other combinations of two or more varieties. The apparatus preferably includes five knife assemblies that combine to reduce bulk cheese products into irregularly shaped and sized cheese crumbles in a high-speed commercial manufacturing process. In addition, the apparatus includes one or more augers having flights configured for working or reshaping peripheral edges of the cheese during the manufacturing process.
Abstract:
An electrical connector for establishing a positive interconnection between a first set of electrical contacts and a second set of electrical contacts which employs the use of a receptacle section and a plug section. The receptacle section includes a collet receiving opening therein. The plug section includes a plurality of collet fingers which are to be locatable within the collet receiving opening and establishing a positive interlocking therewith. The collet fingers are integrally formed within a sleeve which has a drawbolt slideably mounted therein. The drawbolt is movable by a manual actuation means between an extended position and a retracted position. With the drawbolt in the extended position the collet fingers are capable of being deflected thereby permitting movement of the receptacle section with respect to the plug section. The head portion of the drawbolt being located directly adjacent to the collet fingers, the deflection of the collet fingers is not permitted thereby not permitting disassociation of the receptacle section from the plug section.
Abstract:
A faceplate assembly is provided. The faceplate assembly includes a faceplate having planar member with a first side and a second side, the planar member having a number of openings therethrough, the planar member first side having a number of opaque portions and a number of translucent portions, each planar member first side translucent portion disposed adjacent one planar member opening, a number of sources of localized illumination, each the source of localized illumination disposed adjacent the planar member second side and adjacent a planar member first side translucent portion, and wherein the source of localized illumination may be illuminated causing a selected planar member first side translucent portion to be illuminated.
Abstract:
An improved bus apparatus includes a generally rigid substrate and a conductor apparatus. The conductor apparatus includes a number of bus elements that are embedded within the substrate and which are electrically connected with connection elements that each have an end that is situated external to the substrate. Additional connection elements extend through the substrate and are connectable with loads. Circuit interrupters and other devices are connectable with pairs of the connector elements, wherein one connector element is connected with a line and wherein another connector element is connected with a load. The bus apparatus is formed by receiving the bus elements in channels formed in layers of a thermally conductive and electrically insulative material, and the layers are bonded together with the use of a bonding material to cause the bus elements to become laminated within the interior of the substrate.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a marketplace and management system related thereto. In particular, it relates to a marketplace for freight transportation and the systems necessary to support such a marketplace. It is a comprehensive system that acts as an intermediary between buyers and sellers of freight transportation and provides the related support services. The marketplace generally operates over a network using a user interface with various levels of integration. The marketplace facilitates sales of freight transportation services, including multi-leg and multi-modal freight transportation services through several systems including, catalog rates and auctions. The related services provided by the marketplace allow buyers and sellers to enroll in the marketplace, maintain their accounts, and track their operations within the marketplace. Sellers can also manage the rates they charge for providing freight transportation. The marketplace also creates a binding agreement between buyers and sellers called a tender agreement that may be modified even after it has been consummated. Additionally, the marketplace ensures and guarantees payment to the sellers and may perform collection and invoicing functions.
Abstract:
A bagless vacuum cleaner includes a nozzle assembly having a suction nozzle for picking up dirt and debris from a surface to be cleaned and a canister assembly including a cavity. A dust collection assembly is received and held in that cavity. The dust collection assembly includes a filtering subassembly and a dust container. The dust container has an open top, a bottom wall, a first cylindrical sidewall, an inlet, and a downwardly directed outlet extending through the bottom wall. An airstream conduit is provided for conveying a vacuum airstream between the suction nozzle and the inlet. A suction fan and suction fan drive motor carried on either the nozzle assembly or the canister assembly generates the vacuum airstream for drawing dirt and debris through the suction nozzle, the airstream conduit and the dust container.
Abstract:
A circuit breaker panel includes a panel having a surface; an electrically conductive grounding member, such as a grounding strip, adapted for electrical connection to ground; a circuit breaker having an electrically conductive surface; and one or more fasteners fastening the circuit breaker to the panel. The electrically conductive grounding member is sandwiched between the surface of the panel and the electrically conductive surface of the circuit breaker. The electrically conductive circuit breaker surface electrically engages the electrically conductive grounding member.
Abstract:
In a fuel injector a valve-closure member movable axially along a valve longitudinal axis and a valve-seat body are provided for opening and closing the valve. Allocated to the valve-seat body is a valve-seat face which cooperates with the valve-closure member. In this context, the valve-closure member is joined to the valve-seat body via a spring element designed in the form of a diaphragm spring. The spring element is arranged in such a manner that it pulls the valve-closure member toward the valve-seat face as a return spring in response to closing of the valve. The fuel injector is particularly suitable for use in fuel-injection systems of mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.
