Abstract:
A method and system for adjusting a gray-scale level of an LCD device. The method includes: checking a default gray-scale value A; comparing default brightness value YA with a target brightness value YX; inputting a trial gray-scale value B; and outputting a target gray-scale value X. The method employs a preselected Similarity of Triangles technique. The system employs a image-capturing unit determining screen brightness and a control unit using a preselected Similarity of Triangles technique to adjust the gray-scale level of a connected display device, reducing a single-screen-capture gray-scale level adjustment interval to about 1.8 to 2.1 seconds.
Abstract:
A charge pump circuit may include a plurality of charge pump cells. Each charge pump cell may further include an output node for supplying charge, a pumping node for receiving a clock signal and a pumping capacitor, which may be connected between the output node and the pumping node, for storing the charge and may repeat a charge or discharge operation and/or a pre-charge operation in response to a plurality of clock signals. In the pre-charge operation, a unidirectional charge supply may be performed from a lower voltage output node to a higher voltage output node.
Abstract:
A load of a main cell for applying a power to a sensing node of the main cell is equivalent to a load of a reference cell for applying a power to a sensing node of a reference cell. A high voltage higher than a power supply voltage is applied to gate ports of the main cell and the reference cell and is sensed to detect a degraded main cell. Thus, the reliability of a flash memory device is enhanced.

Abstract:
A charge pump circuit includes a plurality of serially connected pump stages. Each pump stage includes current paths connected between a gate terminal of a charge transfer transistor and a drain terminal thereof. One of the charge transfer paths allows charges to be transferred from the drain terminal to the gate terminal while the other path allows charges to be transferred from the gate terminal to the drain terminal. The charge pump circuit can generate a high target voltage using a very low power supply voltage (e.g., 2V or lower).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an optical filter whose a sidelobe disturbing a characteristic of an optical filter by weighting an optical coupling efficiency between waveguides is controlled upon applying a selective area growth method in a wavelength selective variable semiconductor optical filter and method of fabricating the same. The present invention can control the thickness of growth layer selectively by controlling the width of the dielectric thin film mask whose the growth is not achieved in the selective area growth method, can control the distance between two waveguides of the wavelength selective variable semiconductor optical filter by applying the result on the distance control between two waveguides. Accordingly, there can be changed an optical coupling efficiency between two waveguides spatially. Because the sidelobe characteristics is largely improved if the distance between two waveguides is controlled temporarily to be corresponded to one period of Hamming function, there can be fabricated a semiconductor optical filter whose the characteristic is very excellent when applying the present invention.
