Abstract:
An output pad control logic comprises an output buffer including a plurality of transistors connected to drive signals for an output pad. Each of the plurality of transistors includes an n-well. An n-well generator connects a first voltage to the n-wells of the plurality of transistors of the output buffer in a first mode of operation when a system rail voltage exceeds a pad voltage applied to the output pad. The n-well generator connects the pad voltage to the n-wells of the plurality of transistors of the output buffer in a second mode of operation when the pad voltage applied to the output buffer exceeds the system rail voltage. A switching circuit is responsive to at least one control signal to connect the system rail voltage as the first voltage when the output pad is not driving an LCD display and to connect a larger of the system rail voltage and an LCD drive voltage as the first voltage when the output pad is driving the LCD display.
Abstract:
An LCD controller includes a charge pump for generating a charge voltage responsive to an external voltage and a clock signal. The controller further includes an oscillator for generating the clock signal responsive to an oscillator control signal. An LCD driver voltage circuit generates a plurality of LCD driver voltages for driving segments of an associated LCD display. A loop control circuit within the LCD controller monitors an LCD driver voltage from the LCD driver voltage circuit and generates the oscillator control signal responsive thereto to enable and disable the oscillator.
Abstract:
A method and system that enables the usage of sounding-based feedback or analog feedback in a MIMO communication system with non-beamformed or broadcast pilot symbols is disclosed. The mobile station may employ a feedback channel to send a sounding waveform to a base station, a feedforward channel to receive from the base station codebook weights derived from the send sounding waveform, a receiver to receive communication from the base station, and a processor to detect beamformed data from the received communication and received codebook weights from the base station. The base station processes the sounding waveform to determine codebook weights on groups of subcarriers. Additionally, the base station transmits the beamformed payload and broadcast pilots to the mobile station.

The invention provides a probe for an aircraft including a strut having an interior passage accommodating a plurality of pneumatic lines, a probe head extending from the strut and having at least one inlet opening communicating with the pneumatic lines, a baseplate situated below the strut for attaching the probe to the aircraft, and a manifold situated below the baseplate for communicating with the pneumatic lines, wherein the baseplate is adapted and configured so that the pneumatic lines communicating with the manifold are thermally isolated from the baseplate. The invention also provides a method of thermally isolating at least one pneumatic line in an aircraft probe.

Systems and methods receive data representing geographic areas and blackout events. The data is used by a software module in an IPTV system to determine whether content is to be provided to subscribers.
Abstract:
A power operated retractable stop assembly includes a body, a drive arm, and a stop arm. The drive arm is pivotable between a pre-locked position and an unlocked position. There is a locked position between the pre-locked position and the unlocked position. The stop arm is pivotally mounted to the body, has a front side for engaging a workpiece, and a back side for engaging the drive arm. A rotary driving means is connected to a reciprocatable member that drives the drive arm.

Abstract:
A joint using a combination of hydraulics and ball bearings to convert liner motion into a radial motion and thereby provide both variable extension assist, as well as an infinite number of flexion stops for controlled flexion flow. Applications may include, but are not limited to, orthotic devices which facilitate the extension and flexion of human joint, such as a knee. The compact configuration of the present invention would provide the cosmetic advantage of allowing such orthotic devices to fit more easily under clothing wherein they would be less noticeable during use.
