Abstract:
A drive wheel is intermediation driven by an additional element, while achieving a reduction in cost by making use of a plurality of existing motors. A drive motor as a drive source includes a plurality of motor bodies arranged coaxially with and adjacently to each other in the vehicle width direction to permit integral driving thereof, and is disposed forwardly of a pivot for a swing arm supporting the driving wheel. One end in the vehicle width direction of a drive shaft of the drive motor is made to be an output end for output to the driving wheel, and a drive sprocket for power transmission to the driving wheel is provided at the output end. The center of the drive motor in the vehicle width direction is disposed with an offset to the side opposite to the side of the drive sprocket with reference to the vehicle body center.
Abstract:
A control unit having an immobilizer function includes a circuit for transmitting a request signal within a predetermined range. After receiving a reply signal from an electronic key in response to this request signal once and allowing a movable body to move, when a reply signal to the periodically sent request signal is not received, it is determined that the electronic key is out of the range, and it is assumed that the key has been dropped. A monitor section outputs a warning signal and transmits the warning signal to the navigation unit. A navigation unit, in response to the warning signal, stores the location at that time as the positional information on the electronic key. The navigation unit also displays a map showing the location of a key based on positional information on the electronic key. With this system, a lost electronic key may be readily located.
Abstract:
An automatic transmission assembly having a transmission unit including a plurality of gear pairs, a shift drum, a pair of clutches; and a controller. The controller performs a preliminary upshifting action in advance for angularly moving the shift drum depending on a next gear position in an upshifting direction while rotary drive power is being maintained at a given gear position, and when an upshifting command is output, the controller engages one of the clutches simultaneously with the command. When a downshifting command is output, the controller performs a preliminary downshifting action in advance based on the downshifting command. The partially neutral positions are provided between predetermined angular positions on the shift drum for temporarily reducing the angular speed of the shift drum when the shift drum is being angularly rotated.
Abstract:
A portable electronic key easily findable even if dropped into water. The portable electronic key includes an upper cover and a lower cover, a hermetically sealed space is formed, in which electrical equipment such as a board, a battery, and an antenna are arranged. The upper cover and the lower cover are formed of foam resin, and a grain pattern is given to surfaces thereof. A specific gravity of the entire electronic key is set at 1 or less, thus enabling the portable electronic key to float on the surface of the water.
Abstract:
A method is provided for releasing a secret number of a theft prevention function in jet propulsion boat, which is equipped with the theft prevention function. The theft preventing function is capable of turning a power source ON by an occupant inputting the secret number. In the method, at least one of a plurality of harness connected to the theft prevention function is removed to input, a predetermined number (number for release), whereby the secret number is rendered capable of being released. Since the secret number is rendered capable of being released by removing at least one of a plurality of harnesses connected to the theft prevention function, and by inputting a predetermined number, it is possible to make forgetting the secret number and maintenance of the theft prevention function compatible.
Abstract:
A jet propulsion watercraft is provided with a multifunctional display portion that displays operating information and various types of warning conditions. Operation switches operate a content displayed in the multifunctional display portion. A fuel injection system injects fuel for a driving source. A warning mark warns of a faulty condition developing in the fuel injection system. Functions are provided that cause the warning mark to light steadily or flash off and on and that indicate a faulty symptom by means of a flashing pattern of a warning lamp (for example, the warning lamp flashes off and on once, twice, three time, or the like) given when the operation switches are operated while the warning mark is lit steadily or flashing off and on. A prompt action can be taken against a malfunction of the fuel injection system. As a result, convenience in eliminating malfunctions of the fuel injection system can be enhanced.
Abstract:
To provide a vehicle navigation system that can accurately display a position of a vehicle that has the navigation system mounted thereon and a target direction even when the vehicle is stopped or traveling at low speed. The vehicle navigation system includes a device that senses a traveling state of a vehicle, a device that judges whether or not the vehicle is stopped or traveling at a low speed, and a device that smoothes GPS positioning data so that error components contained in the GPS positioning data are canceled out or compensated for when the vehicle is stopped or traveling at a low speed. The navigation system further includes a device that calculates the current position based on the smoothed GPS positioning data. The smoothing device outputs new positioning data, for example, based on current GPS positioning data and previous GPS positioning data.
Abstract:
This invention relates to facilitating the layout of cables in an electric connector box for a vehicle. Within the fuse box are disposed a large number of plug-in type blade fuses and screw type fuses. A difference in height is provided between mounting surfaces of the block fuses between terminal boards. The terminal boards of one type of fuse is set at a higher position than the terminal boards of the other type of fuse. Therefore, cables can be drawn out in the same direction without mutual interference. Although cable, which is laid inside, is screwed to the back of a substrate, the height of a screw portion for the cable is also set so as to avoid interference of the cable with back connections of the blade fuses.
