摘要: A fusionless correction system comprises a longitudinal element extending between a first end and second end. At least one fixation element is disposed with the longitudinal element and is configured for disposal in bone. A lock is disposed with the at least one fixation element and includes at least one bone penetrating projection. The lock is movable relative to the at least one fixation element between a first non-engaging configuration and a second engaging configuration such that the at least one bone penetrating projection extends beyond an outer surface of the at least one fixation element. Methods of use are disclosed.

The method comprising providing a process chamber having a wall; providing a plasma source adjacent to the wall of the process chamber; providing a work piece support within the process chamber; placing the substrate onto a support film on a frame to form a work piece work piece; loading the work piece onto the work piece support; providing a cover ring disposed above the work piece; generating a plasma through the plasma source; and etching the work piece through the generated plasma.

摘要: An umbrella support system for supporting an umbrella over the water surface of a pool. The system uses the pool's skimmer apparatus to support a pole above the deck and hang the umbrella at the end of the pole. The system includes a modified deck plate placed in the deck, a modified basket plate placed on the skimmer basket, a pole having a first end and a second end, an umbrella attachment mechanism hanging the umbrella from the first end of the pole and a basket plate engagement mechanism engaging the second end of the pole with the basket plate and/or basket. The second end of the pole passes through an aperture in the deck plate and engages the basket plate or the basket to extend the pole upward from the deck and over the water surface. The umbrella hangs downward from the pole to shade persons in the water.

摘要: A bottom-loading multi-axial bone anchor apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a receiver member, a crown member, a bone anchor and a retaining member. The receiver member defines an upper opening and a lower opening, which may form part of the same opening, a channel, and a groove. The crown member and bone anchor are loaded into the lower opening of the receiver member, and the retaining member fits around the bone anchor and into the groove in the receiver member. The bone anchor is capable of multi-axial positioning with respect to the receiver member. An elongated member is placed in the channel of the receiver member, contacting the crown member, and a compression member is applied via the upper opening. The compression member presses down on the elongated member, which presses down on the crown member and locks the bone anchor between the crown member and the retaining member.

摘要: By providing an ear plug product incorporating water absorbing capabilities, a highly effective and easily employed ear plug product is realized which is capable of being used for removing water contained in the ear canal of an individual. In one preferred embodiment, the ear plug product of the present invention incorporates water absorbing material integrally formed in the ear plug which immediately draws the water from the ear canal into the ear plug product for being retained in the ear plug. In an alternate preferred embodiment, the ear plug product incorporates at least one elongated, longitudinally extending channel or passageway formed along substantially the entire length of the ear plug product. By incorporating the elongated, longitudinally extending passage-way or channel in the ear plug product, the desired water absorption is achieved.

摘要: A stocking cart conveyance may include three tiers, wherein the lower and middle tiers are substantially full length and the upper tier is substantially shorter to improve user sight lines, cart maneuverability, and/or accessibility to items in the middle tier. The upper tier in illustrative embodiments may be approximately 70-80% of the length of the full length tier(s) so as to maintain significant storage volume while still providing improved access, maneuverability, or sight lines. The upper tier may optionally be hinged so as to further improve user accessibility to items placed on the second tier. In illustrative embodiments the carts may longitudinally nest into one another to reduce the space needed to store the carts, and in certain embodiments the carts may be configured to nest when the upper tiers are in an upright position.

摘要: A bottom-loading multi-axial bone anchor apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a receiver member, a crown member, a bone anchor and a retaining member. The receiver member defines an upper opening and a lower opening, which may form part of the same opening, a channel, and a groove. The crown member and bone anchor are loaded into the lower opening of the receiver member, and the retaining member fits around the bone anchor and into the groove in the receiver member. The bone anchor is capable of multi-axial positioning with respect to the receiver member. An elongated member is placed in the channel of the receiver member, contacting the crown member, and a compression member is applied via the upper opening. The compression member presses down on the elongated member, which presses down on the crown member and locks the bone anchor between the crown member and the retaining member.
