    Abstract: A method for moving a rotor in a planar drive system having a first and second stator modules and a rotor. The stator modules are arranged at a distance, forming a gap. First and second magnetic fields are generated by the first and stator modules. The first and second magnetic fields hold the rotor in a vertical position, at a distance from a surface of the first and/or second stator module. The first and/or second magnetic fields have a first magnetic field strength to maintain the rotor in the vertical position, and may be used to change a horizontal position of the rotor. The first stator module has a first close range adjacent the gap, where the first magnetic field has a second field strength when the rotor is moved across the gap, greater than the first magnetic field strength.

    Abstract: A safety module for a field-bus system comprising a switch-on unit, a control unit, a supply input provided to feed supply power, a first supply output provided to relay secured supply power to a consumer, a first switching element to electrically connect or disconnect the supply input and the first supply output, and a supply module to provide an operating power via an operating-power-supply line for operating the control unit. The control unit is connected to the first switching element to secure the supply power being relayed via the first supply output by actuating the first switching element. The supply module is electrically connected to the supply input and to a field-bus-power input. The field-bus-power input is provided to feed a field-bus power into the safety module for operating the switch-on unit. The supply module is provided to generate the operating power either from the supply power or field-bus power.

    Abstract: A magnet arrangement for interacting with drive coils of an electric motor comprises a first drive magnet, a second drive magnet, and a compensation magnet arranged between a coil-facing side of the magnet arrangement and a coil-averted side of the magnet arrangement. The compensation magnet is arranged between the first drive magnet and the second drive magnet. The first drive magnet has a first cross-sectional area, the second drive magnet has a second cross-sectional area, and the compensation magnet has a third cross-sectional area; e.g., with a coil-facing width of the first cross-sectional area and a coil-facing width of the second cross-sectional area in each case greater than a coil-facing width of the third cross-sectional area, a coil-averted width of the third cross-sectional area greater than the coil-facing width of the third cross-sectional area, and the third cross-sectional area undercuts the first and second cross-sectional area on the coil-averted side.

    Abstract: To operate a load a half bridge includes a switching device with a high-side semiconductor switch and a low-side semiconductor switch. The semiconductor switches are connected in series via their current terminals, and each semiconductor switch may be assigned, via its control terminal, a driving system that switches the respective semiconductor switch on or off according to a drive signal. The load is connectable between the high-side and low-side semiconductor switches. The half bridge may include a load relief device connected to the switching device, e.g., in order to collect energy during a switching process in the switching device.
