摘要: A terminal block for conductively coupling multiple pairs of electrical wires includes a deadfront cover mounted onto a non-conductive base so as to define multiple pairs of wire receiving receptacles, each pair of wire receiving receptacles being electrically connected together via a conductive bus bar. As one feature of the present invention, a conductive shunt can be disposed by means of a manually operable shunt switch to selectively contact all of the bus bars in order to discharge any current present thereon. As another feature of the present invention, a plurality of finger-safe captive screw assemblies are retained within the cover, each captive screw assembly including a screw which can be driven into a threaded bore formed in one end of a corresponding bus bar. As yet another feature of the present invention, multiple pairs of interchangeable end caps can be removably snap-fit mounted on the base to enable the terminal block to be retained onto a wide variety of different surfaces. As yet still another feature of the present invention, a DIN rail lock is retained between each end cap and the base and includes one or more sharpened teeth which can be driven into the surface of the DIN rail to lock the terminal block in place.

摘要: An illuminating device may be used, for example, as a portable illuminator, book light and travel light. The illuminating device may include a head, a pair of rails and a base. The illuminating device may be manipulated into numerous positions including extended and retracted positions such that the light source may be positioned in a variety of positions relative to the base which may include a clip for securing structure the illuminating device to a variety of structures including books, magazines, tables, e-readers and bags, to name a few.

摘要: A method of shortening cycle time required to compression mold shingle or tile is provided, wherein carrier plates are comprised of a surface material and a base, and receive a thermoplastic material, thereon. The roofing material is applied to the carrier plate and the carrier plate is subjected to induction heating, by which its surface material has its temperature raised, without substantially raising the temperature of the carrier plate base, such that the thermoplastic material applied thereto is kept heated in the compression mold. Cooling of the thermoplastic material is by heat transfer from the carrier plate surface material to the carrier plate base, and with both materials having good heat conduction capability. The carrier plate surface material has a high receptivity to being heated by induction heating relative the carrier plate base. The carrier plates are serially delivered through the process, to the compression mold.

摘要: A Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) having a split write control is described. The SRAM includes bit, write, and write-word lines. Each memory cell within the SRAM includes a delay which is coupled to a dedicated write-word line. When a cell is not being written, its delay receives a delay signal on its associated write-word line, which increases the response time of the cell. When a cell is to be written, however, its delay receives a bypass signal on its associated write-word line, which decreases the response time of the SRAM cell.
