The net apparatus comprising a base structure including at least one support portion, at least one base extension, and a hinge, wherein the at least one support portion is coupled to the at least one base extension and the hinge. At least one rod is removably coupled to the base structure and received by a net, wherein the net is adapted to exert a force on the at least one rod causing the at least one rod to exert a force onto said hinge in order to lock the at least one support portion.

摘要： A pulsation dampener for receiving a fluid medium containing pressure pulsations. The pulsation dampener can include a body having an inner surface, an inlet, and an outlet, and a fluid path defined at least partially by the inner surface of the body. The fluid path can include a first chamber in fluid communication with the inlet and having a first cross-sectional area, a second chamber positioned adjacent the first chamber and having a second cross-sectional area different from the first cross-sectional area, and a third chamber in fluid communication with the outlet and positioned adjacent the second chamber opposite the first chamber and having a third cross-sectional area different from the second cross-sectional area. The fluid path can be configured such that the second cross-sectional area is greater than the first cross-sectional area and the third cross-sectional area.

摘要： A dental x-ray film viewing device includes a film reader having a digital video camera and an image display screen connected to the video camera for displaying an enlarged digital image of the x-ray film using signals transmitted directly from the video camera. The film reader includes a film illumination station that has a back-lighted film seat. The film seat includes a translucent plate and a non-transparent film anchoring wafer having an opening complimentary to the x-ray film for seating the x-ray film, and blocking light in an area surrounding the x-ray film. The film reader has a video camera having lens thereof focusing on the film window, and the lens has a distortion at the full field less than 3%. The device provides a substantially enlarged high resolution and high contrast digital image as an accurate representation of the original x-ray film, without digital processing by a computer.

摘要： A bottle inspection method is provided which is capable of compensating for random variations in the orientation and position of objects being inspected, such as glass bottles on a conveyor. The inspection device creates an image of the object and then analyzes the image to determine the amount of variation in orientation and position. The desired measurements are made from the image and then adjusted relative to the variation previously determined. Also provided is an improved housing for the imaging devices which eliminates the need for clear panels which are prone to dirtying.

摘要： A method of attenuating fluid dynamic pulsations that propagate through a flow of fluid at a convective velocity of the fluid, the pulsations having an organized vortical structure includes directing the flow to a pulsation dampener inlet having a first area and transitioning the organized vortical structure to a small-scale turbulent structure by squeezing the vorticies by passing the flow of fluid through a passage having a second area that is smaller than the first area, then rapidly expanding the flow of fluid by passing it into a chamber having a third area measured at an inlet of the chamber that is substantially larger than the second area. The method also includes discharging the flow of fluid from the chamber. The flow of fluid includes substantially attenuated fluid dynamic pulsations and acoustic pulsations that travel through the flow of fluid at the speed of sound.
