Abstract: A delivery handle for implanting a prosthetic device at one of a mitral, aortic, tricuspid, and pulmonary valve region of a human heart includes a housing and an actuation control mechanism. The actuation control mechanism includes a knob and an actuation tube. The knob is rotatably coupled to the housing. The actuation tube is coupled to the knob such that rotation of the knob in a first direction moves the actuation tube distally relative to the housing and rotation of the knob in a second direction moves the actuation tube proximally relative to the housing.

Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure provide a prosthetic valve (e.g., prosthetic heart valve) and a valve delivery apparatus for delivery of the prosthetic valve to a native valve site via the human vasculature. The delivery apparatus is particularly suited for advancing a prosthetic heart valve through the aorta (i.e., in a retrograde approach) for replacing a diseased native aortic valve. Abstract: A method for retrieving a previously inserted prosthetic valve is disclosed. In one example, a loader assembly is inserted through a hub of a delivery sheath device. The delivery sheath device includes an expandable sheath that extends into a blood vessel of a patient. The loader assembly is advanced in a distal direction until a distal section of the loader assembly extends into the expandable sheath which is attached to a distal end of the hub. The distal section has a larger inner diameter than a middle tube section of the loader assembly. A delivery catheter is retracted to move a prosthetic valve attached thereto in a proximal direction until the prosthetic valve is received within the distal section. The loader assembly and the delivery catheter are removed from a proximal end of the hub while the prosthetic valve is retained within the distal section.

Abstract: An implantable device includes a spacer member configured to be disposed between leaflets of a native heart valve that is located between a first chamber and a second chamber of the heart. The device further includes a plurality of anchor members coupled to the spacer member and configured to capture the leaflets such that the device is retained between the leaflets. The spacer member is configured to provide a flow path through the device between the first chamber and the second chamber when the leaflets are captured such that blood can flow regurgitatively from the second chamber to the first chamber through the spacer member.
