摘要： A method of making ceramic bodies having reduced shape variability. Such ceramic bodies include extruded-to-shape substrates and diesel particulate filters. Principal components analysis is used to generate a small number of uncorrelated or independent components from a larger set of inter-correlated measurements. The uncorrelated components can then be used during the forming process to control the shape of ceramic bodies and reduce variability of such shapes. A method for quantifying and subsequently reducing the shape variability of is also described.

摘要： A method of treatment of a host with a cellular proliferative disease, comprising contacting the host with a cephalotaxine and an antiproliferative agent, each in an amount sufficient to modulate said cellular proliferative disease, is described. In some embodiments, the cephalotaxine comprises homoharringtonine (cephalotaxine, 4-methyl-2-hydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-4-methyl pentyl) butanediocate ester). Antiproliferative agents of the invention comprise alkylating agents, intercalating agents, metal coordination complexes, pyrimidine nucleosides, purine nucleosides, inhibitors of nucleic acid associated enzymes and proteins, and agents affecting structural proteins and cytoplasmic enzymes.

摘要： The present invention relates to a process for improving reactor volumetric productivity in the production of methanol wherein a synthesis feed gas stream containing hydrogen and carbon oxides is contacted with a catalyst slurry containing greater than about 25 wt % of a powdered copper-containing catalyst having a porosity of from about 30% to 70%. Volumetric productivity is maximized in the process by controlling a single parameter, gas holdup, wherein holdup is maintained within the range of about 14% to 26%.

摘要： Treatment of cellular disorders involving abnormal solid cellular growths involves introduction of cytotoxic reagents dispersed in a physiologically acceptable proteinaceous matrix into the solid cellular growth or area of an existing or removed solid cellular growth. Enhanced effectiveness of the drug is observed, with reduced cytotoxic effects on cells distant from the site of introduction. Other drugs may be included to enhance therapeutic gain and reduce adverse affects to normal tissue.
