Abstract:
An airbag fastening system in an airbag module has a clamping connection and includes a retaining ring for an injection orifice of the airbag in an airbag receptacle surrounding both the airbag module and the retaining ring. The retaining ring has a reducing width on an outer face in a main pulling direction when the airbag unfolds. At least a portion of the airbag receptacle or a component associated with the airbag receptacle has a smaller width above the retaining ring than a greatest width of the retaining ring. A lower end of the airbag forms the injection orifice, is folded over the retaining ring, and extends between the retaining ring and the airbag receptacle or the component. The retaining ring includes at least one portion having a conically tapered cross-section on the outer face in the main pulling direction when the airbag unfolds.
Abstract:
An airbag module including a gas generator with at least one laterally projecting fastening portion; a generator support; an airbag with an inflation opening; a cover cap; and latching elements for connecting the generator support to the cover cap. The airbag has a plate proximate to the inflation opening, the plate including an opening for the gas generator. Latching elements are provided to hold the plate and the airbag connected thereto, and to hold the fastening portion of the gas generator situated between the generator support and the plate. The plate, at least in the region of these latching elements, is larger than the external dimensioning of the folded airbag in the region of the inflation opening.

Abstract:
A fluoroscopy image is registered with data representing a volume, identifying a catheter position relative to a volume represented by preoperative volume data. The catheter position relative to a patient volume represented by data acquired without scanning the catheter is displayed. For example, a 2D fluoroscopy image is registered with respect to coordinates of a 3D preoperative CT or MRI volume by registering the fluoroscopy image and the preoperative volume to 3D ultrasound coordinates.
Abstract:
An airbag module including a gas generator and an airbag. The gas generator and the airbag are arranged in the module housing one behind the other in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the airbag module so that the dimension of the airbag module is greater in the direction of the longitudinal axis than the dimension of the airbag module in a direction transversely to the longitudinal axis. The module housing is divided in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the airbag module and includes two housing shells. The airbag is connected to the module housing by a clamping frame which includes at least one gas conduction element.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device and to a method for visual assistance during the electrophysiological use of a catheter in the heart, enabling electroanatomic 3D mapping data relating to an area of the heart to be treated to be visualised during the use of the catheter. Before the catheter is used, 3D image data of a body region containing the area to be treated is detected by means of a method for tomographic 3D imaging. The area to be treated or significant parts thereof are extracted from said 3D image data, in order to obtain selected 3D image data. The electroanatomic 3D mapping data and the selected 3D image data obtained are then classed in terms of position and dimension, and are adjacently visualised, for example, during the catheter ablation. The inventive method and associated device enable the orientation of the operator to be improved during the use of a catheter in the heart.

Abstract:
A system and method for tree structure based two-dimensional to three-dimensional registration are provided for receiving three-dimensional (3D) data indicative of vessels, segmenting the 3D data with a vessel tree, simulating two-dimensional (2D) data responsive to the segmented 3D data to form a simulated 2D image, receiving 2D data indicative of vessels, segmenting the received 2D data with a vessel tree, finding a distance transform of the segmented 2D data to form a 2D distance map image, considering a set of poses as state vectors with the corresponding probability computed using the similarity measure computation, re-sampling the pose vector to find a set of most probable poses and considering them as hypothesized poses, recomputing the projection and re-evaluating the probability of the hypothesized poses and updating the state vector until the optimal pose is found.
Abstract:
A system and method for automatically registering a three dimensional (3D) pre-operative image of an anatomical structure with intra-operative electrophysiological (EP) points of a 3D electro-anatomical (EA) image map of the anatomical structure is disclosed. The pre-operative image is displayed in a first supporting view. The intra-operative EA image map is displayed in a second supporting view. An alignment of the pre-operative image with the intra-operative map is performed by identifying at least one corresponding point on each image. The view of the pre-operative image is integrated with the EA map based on the alignment.
