摘要: A non-clogging type pump impeller includes: a fluid passage provided in an approximately cylindrical body and connecting a suction port to a discharge port. The fluid passage has a vortex shape as viewed from an axial direction. A first recess, which is sunk downwardly in the axial direction, is formed on a first end surface of the approximately cylindrical body so as to surround a boss. A second recess, which is sunk upwardly in the axial direction, is formed on a second end surface of the approximately cylindrical body so as to surround the suction port. At least one communication hole provides fluid communication between the first recess and the second recess. Sewage in the second recess is introduced into the first recess through the at least one communication hole to thereby effectively remove an air pocket trapped on the first end surface of the impeller and in the first recess.

摘要: The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and method for preventing or treating a zoster-associated pain. The inventors found that an N-{2-[(4-substituted phenyl)amino]-2-oxoethyl}tetrahydro-2H-thiopyran-4-carboxamide compound useful as a varicella-zoster virus (VZV) unexpectedly has the effect to prevent an irreversible nerve degeneration accompanied by herpes virus infection, and therefore is also useful as an agent for preventing or treating zoster-associated pain, and thus accomplished the present invention.

摘要: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an electroconductive substrate; and at least a photosensitive layer provided on the electroconductive substrate, wherein the electrophotographic photoreceptor has an outermost layer which contains microcapsules having a lubricating oil encompassed therein. The microcapsules may be composed of an inorganic porous particle or an organic polymer material, and the lubricating oil may be a silicone oil or a fluoro oil. Such a photoreceptor has a surface with excellent lubricity and is less susceptible to surface damage and filming from toner or the like while exhibiting good reuseability of toner.

摘要: In a heat exchanger in which the number of parts is small, assembling is easy, bonded portions between each part are fewer and reliability of brazing is improved, a core body is constituted by turning up and bending a strip-shaped metal plate in a fanfold manner, and first flow passages and second flow passages are formed alternately in the thickness direction. Both ends of each of the first flow passages are blocked by each comb tooth of a pair of comb-state members, and a fin is set within the second flow passages so as to constitute a core. And a cylindrical casing is fitted with the outer periphery of the core body, and the casing is constituted by a channel-state material covering three faces of the outer periphery of the core body and a lid material blocking an opening of the channel-state material. In the core body, a starting end and a terminating end of the turning-up/bending of the strip-shaped metal plate are both located on the turned-up end edge on one side, the starting end the terminating end form a fitting edge portion turned-up with the section in the U-shape conforming to the plate thickness of the channel-state material, and the end edge of the opening of the channel-state material is fitted with the fitting edge portion so as to braze/fix the both.

摘要: A rehabilitating pipe for repairing an existing pipe has pipe units that are mutually coupled in a longitudinal direction of the existing pipe. Each of the pipe units has segments that are mutually coupled in a circumferential direction of the existing pipe. Each of the segments has an inner-surface plate and an outer-wall plate extending vertically from and around an entire perimeter of the inner-surface plate. The outer-wall plate has lateral plates extending along a longitudinal direction of the inner-surface plate and end plates connected between the respective lateral plates. Connecting members couple the segments together in the circumferential direction to assemble the pipe unit. A restraining member is attached to and encircles an outer circumference of the assembled pipe unit to restrain the pipe unit.
