摘要: An inter-labium product capable of disintegration in water, fitted to the inter-labium part; and a surface-side sheet for inter-labium product that simultaneously realizes comfortability at wearing of the inter-labium product and capability of water disintegration such that the inter-labium product is disintegrated when thrown in flush water of water closet after use. The surface-side sheet for use in an inter-labium product fitted to the inter-labium part is comprised of hydrophilic fibers composed of single fibers and fibril fibers having fuzzes branched from the surface thereof, wherein at least some of the branched fuzzes link the single fibers and the fibril fibers to each other. Thus, not only can the wet tensile strength be increased but also inter-fibrous bonds are slowly decomposed in the presence of a large amount of water to thereby enable disposal of the inter-labium product in a flush toilet. Furthermore, since no resin is used, the inter-labium product is free from resin leaching to thereby avoid problems, such as itching and skin roughness, caused by the resin leaching.

摘要: Provided is a multi-layered water-decomposable fibrous sheet with a plurality of layers each having a different fibrous constitution being integrated, including a top layer on a top surface and a back layer on a back surface. The top layer includes fibrillated rayon of at least 3% by mass of all fibers constituting the top layer. The fibrillated rayon has a degree of beating of at most 700 cc, and has primary fibers of a predetermined fiber length and microfibers extending from the primary fibers. The microfibers are entangled with and/or hydrogen-bonded to at least either of other microfibers and other fibers. The back layer includes fibers containing no fibrillated rayon, the fibers entangled with and/or hydrogen-bonded to each other, or the back layer includes the fibrillated rayon in an amount smaller than that in the top layer. The microfibers of the fibrillated rayon are entangled with and/or hydrogen-bonded to at least either of other microfibers and other fibers.

摘要: A storage container for precision substrates comprising: an opening front face of a pod case for aligning and accommodating a plurality of wafers is covered with a pod door, a bottom plate attached to a bottom face of the pod case, and a pocket body integrally formed at the other end of the bottom plate and adjacent to the back face of the pod case in a standing condition. An identification plate for wafers is detachably inserted into the pocket. Since there is no need of peeling off an identification code seal from the storage container for precision substrates, contamination of the wafer can be prevented.

摘要: Provided is a process for preparing tertiary butyl alcohol from isobutylene comprising reacting isobutylene or a hydrocarbon mixture containing isobutylene with an aqueous solution of an aliphatic carboxylic acid having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms in the presence of a solid, acidic ion-exchange resin as catalyst, to produce an aqueous reaction mixture of a major amount of tertiary butyl alcohol and a minor amount of the tertiary butyl ester of the carboxylic acid comprising the improved steps of:(1) subjecting said reaction mixture to distillation to remove unreacted isobutylene or hydrocarbon mixture therefrom;(2) supplying the treated reaction mixture of step (1) to a distillation column and passing water from the top to the bottom of said distillation column to remove said tertiary butyl ester of the carboxylic acid, wherein the amount of water used for removing the ester in step (2) is less than the sum of the amount of water used for converting said isobutylene into tertiary butyl alcohol and the amount of water contained in the tertiary butyl alcohol product;(3) contacting the distillate obtained from the ester removal column with a strongly acidic ion-exchange resin to hydrolyze said tertiary butyl ester in the distillate; and thereafter(4) returning said hydrolyzed liquid to the distillation column of step (2).

摘要: The nonwoven fabric sheet of the present invention is characterized by a porosity in the range of 0.3 to 0.7 and an average pore size in the range of 0.5 μm to 5.0 μm. The nonwoven fabric sheet of the present invention preferably has a maximum pore size (μm)/average pore size (μm) ratio of 1.30 or lower. The nonwoven fabric sheet of the present invention is obtained by press-molding a nonwoven fabric at a temperature lower than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin which constitutes the nonwoven fabric sheet. According to the present invention, there is provided a nonwoven fabric sheet that has a high porosity, small uniform pore sizes and excellent productivity, which can suitably be used in various applications such as filters, light diffusing material, liquid absorber and heat insulating materials; and a method for producing the nonwoven fabric sheet.
