Abstract: An apparatus of a source Radio Access Network (RAN) node, a system, and a method. The apparatus includes one or more processors that configures a user equipment (UE) for a conditional handover of the UE from the source RAN node to a candidate target RAN node based on at least one of a first configuration of the source RAN node or conditions to be met for execution of the conditional handover; and in response to a reconfiguration of the source RAN node to a second configuration, configure the UE for the conditional handover to the candidate target RAN node based on the second configuration by causing transmission of a message to the UE including information based on the second configuration.

Abstract: To configure a UT for handover between a source evolved Node-B (eNB) and a target eNB using aerial communications in a cellular network, the UE processing circuitry is to decode measurement configuration information from the source eNB. The measurement configuration information includes a plurality of height thresholds associated with aerial height of the UE. A measurement report is encoded for transmission to the source eNB. The measurement report includes the aerial height of the UE and the measurement report generation triggered based on one or more triggering events associated with the plurality of height thresholds. RRC signaling from the source eNB is decoded, the RRC signaling including a handover command. The handover command is based on a handover decision by the source eNB using the measurement report. A handover from the source eNB to the target eNB is performed based on the handover command.

One or more parameters of the second cell can be measured. The one or more parameters can be communicated to one or more other mobile devices of the plurality of mobile devices.

Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Evolved Node-B (eNB) and methods for communication in accordance with a packet convergence and link control (PCLC) layer are generally described herein. The UE may receive, from a Fifth Generation (5G) eNB, a first group of medium access control (MAC) protocol data units (PDUs) that include PCLC PDUs. In accordance with PCLC sequence numbers (SNs), the UE may reorder the PCLC PDUs and may decipher the PCLC PDUs. The UE may receive, from a legacy eNB, a second group of MAC PDUs that include packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) PDUs encapsulated in radio link control (RLC) PDUs. The UE may reorder the RLC PDUs based on RLC SNs and may decipher the RLC PDUs based on PDCP SNs that are exclusive to the RLC SNs.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure describe methods, apparatuses, storage media, and systems for beam management techniques in new radio (NR) applications. Various embodiments describe how to manage beam monitoring including measuring and reporting in an NR network efficiently so that a UE that is capable of measuring a minimum number of beams may report measurement results corresponding to a maximum number of beams. Abstract: Apparatuses, systems and methods for mitigation and detection of drone-based interference are disclosed. An apparatus for a base station can include processing circuitry to encode a message to control a user equipment (UE) to measure received power received from a set of observed cells in a wireless communication network. Processing circuitry can further be configured to receive a report from the UE that includes received power for the set of observed cells. The processing circuitry can further determine interference power from the UE to a specified cell of the set of observed cells based on the report and further based on reported antenna gain. The processing circuitry can further determine whether to support communication of the UE within the wireless communication network based on the determined interference power from the UE. Other systems, methods and apparatuses are described.
