Abstract:
A memory device, including a first ground selection transistor, a first string selection transistor, and first memory cell transistors disposed in series between the first ground selection transistor and the first string selection transistor, wherein the first ground selection transistor and the first memory cell transistors have a same structure. A method of programming the memory device may include programming the ground selection transistor before programming the memory cell.
Abstract:
In the scanning conversion apparatus, interlaced-to-progressive scanning is performed according to one of at least two different techniques. The technique used depends on the interlaced scan data being converted. As examples, a spatial interpolation technique, a spatial/temporal interpolation technique, or other technique may be selected.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A mobile terminal that is capable of displaying a screen image during a specific state, which includes a character memory for storing character images and a screen image created by a combination of the character images and which is displayable during the specific state of the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal further includes a controller for controlling the display of the screen image, and a display unit for displaying the screen image. When an event occurs in the mobile terminal, the controller further processes the event and changes the display data of the screen image according to the event processing result, and displays the changed screen image during the specific state of the mobile terminal.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for sharing data between at least two terminals over a LAN, in which a first terminal requests for information on whether to hold shared data to a terminal connected to the LAN, receives the information on whether to hold the shared data from the terminal, collects the information on whether to hold the shared data received from the terminal, identifies a total degree of sharing using the collected information on whether to hold the shared data, and determines a method for transmitting the shared data according to the identified total degree of sharing.
Abstract:
A character agent function is added to a wireless terminal and an avatar user interface (UI) for generating and processing an event is expressed when an event occurs in the wireless terminal, such that call and message-related events occurring in the wireless terminal can be expressed through the character agent function.
Abstract:
A chemical vapor deposition method comprises steps of: a) injecting a source gas into a chamber so that the source gas is adsorbed on a substrate; b) injecting a purge gas into the chamber for a predetermined period of time so that the source gas remaining in the chamber is purged; c) injecting a reactant gas into a plasma generating portion, and generating plasma at the plasma generating portion by applying a first-level RF power source to a RF electrode plate so that radical of the reactant gas is adsorbed on the substrate; d) injecting a purge gas into the chamber for a predetermined period of time so that the reactant gas remaining in the chamber is purged; and e) applying a second-level RF power source to the plasma generating portion at the step a), b) and d) while the steps a) to d) are being repeated.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method capable of expressing use state of a portable terminal by using a character image. The apparatus includes an emotion value memory for storing emotion variance values allocated to events occurring in the portable terminal in order to express an emotion of the portable terminal, a character memory for storing character images which express emotion states of the portable terminal, a controller for confirming an event variance value corresponding to an event when the event occurs in the portable terminal, changing an emotion value of the portable terminal by using the event variance value, confirming an emotion state corresponding to the emotion value, and selecting a character image corresponding to the confirmed emotional state from the character memory; and a display unit for displaying the selected character image as the emotional state of the portable terminal.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for controlling unidirectional link connection in a mobile ad hoc network which comprises: mobile nodes including transmission power information in a beacon message that is periodically transmitted; using the information to sense a unidirectional link and maintain residual power information with regard to the corresponding node, and providing unidirectional link connectivity in the link layer to an upper layer through a filtering process using broadcasting and residual power information. Hence, the unidirectional links generated in the mobile ad hoc network may be accurately sensed using transmission power loss on a transmission path, and the frames generated in the link layer in the reverse direction of the unidirectional links may be transmitted.
Abstract:
A photoresist composition for preventing exposing failures and a method of forming a pattern using the same are disclosed. The photoresist composition preferably comprises about 0.1% to about 0.5% by weight of a photo acid generator, and about 2% to about 10% by weight of a polymer resin, the PAG including a monophenyl sulfonium compound, a triphenyl sulfonium compound or a mixture thereof. The footing phenomenon and the top loss of a pattern are sufficiently prevented.
