    摘要: A technique for eliminating edge artifacts in magnetic microscopy includes the steps of scanning a SQUID over an object under study to acquire values of magnetic fields produced by currents running in the object to create a first data set having N data points. At the end of the first data set, N zero data points are added to create a second data set having 2N data points. Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is further applied to the 2N data set to obtain k-space having b(k) values. The b(k) values of the k-space are averaged, and the averaged b(k) values corresponding to k exceeding a predetermined k value are filtered off. A set of current density representations i(k) in the k-space are obtained to which inverse FFT is applied to obtain a map of current densities I(x,y) of the object. A system for performing the method of the present invention includes a software designed to suppress (or eliminate) edge artifacts present in the obtained images.

The controller may provide different illumination levels and functions in response to different pressures and durations of actuation. The flashlight may include a dimmer level control to establish an intermediate “dimmed” output level, and operate to provide the selected dimmed output when the switch is depressed by an intermediate amount, and to provide a greater maximum output level in response to full actuation of the switch.

The first switch controls delivery of power to the lamp, and the second switch selects a dimmed brightness level. The first switch may invoke the dimmed level, or a maximum brightness level. The second switch may be a ring rotatable about the axis the flashlight, and either rotatable through a wide range of positions, with sensor circuitry to detect the absolute position, or having a limited range of rotation, with dimmed level selection provided by a duration of momentary rotation in either direction. The second switch may be positioned outside a leak resistant housing, and may include a magnet detectable by magnetic field sensors within the chamber.

    摘要: A check valve has a valve body with an annular seat surrounding the duct and a flap member pivotally mounted on the valve body so as to pivot about an axis transverse to the duct from an open position to a closed position pressing against the seat. The flap member includes a circular flap plate with a rigid backer plate and a front resilient layer carried on a pivot mounting bracket having a rigid mounting plate generally parallel to the backer plate. The backer plate and the mounting plate each have a central hole therethrough and are connected by an integral body molded from a resilient elastomeric material to form the front resilient layer, a back stopper portion and a connecting neck portion arranged so as to provide resilient flexing movement between the flap plate and the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is carried on a shaft with a pair of coil springs housed outside the body so that broken spring parts do not enter the fluid in the housing.

The apparatus comprises a resilient body defining a mid portion extending laterally between a pair of side portions projecting transversely outward therefrom to terminate at respective free ends. The mid and side portions collectively define an upper surface for hand and forearm support for the user and an inner side surface contoured about a cradle space for receiving a torso of the user in cradling manner. At least one actuator disposed on the resilient body is selectively driven in cooperation with the interactive session to generate tactile feedback to the user through at least one of the upper and inner side surfaces of the resilient body.
