摘要： The present invention discloses a receiving system and a method of processing data to receiving and processing mobile service data. The receiving system may include a signal receiving unit, a demodulating unit, a data processor, and a middleware engine. The signal receiving unit receives a broadcasting signal, which includes IP packets, payload of the IP packets including a DSM-CC module data part and a DSM-CC header, the DSM-CC module data part including a plurality of DSM-CC objects, and the DSM-CC header including identification information for identifying the DSM-CC module. The demodulating unit demodulates the received broadcasting signal including IP packets. The data processor extracts a plurality of DSM-CC objects of a corresponding payload with reference to DSM-CC header information of the IP packets demodulated by the demodulating unit and configuring a DSM-CC module, which includes identification information and the extracted DSM-CC objects. The middleware engine provides a data broadcasting service by driving application corresponding to the DSM-CC module.

A broadcast signal in which mobile service data and main service data are multiplexed is transmitted and received. Then, in a broadcasting receiver, the program table information describing channel information and event information of the mobile service data according to an identifier of an ensemble in which the mobile service data are multiplexed, in the received broadcast signal. And the mobile service data is outputted by using the parsed program table information.

摘要： The present invention provides a method of processing data in digital broadcasting system. The method includes receiving a broadcast signal including mobile broadcast service data and main broadcast service data, wherein the mobile broadcast service data configures a RS frame, and wherein the RS frame includes at least one data packet corresponding to the mobile broadcast service data, an RS parity generated based upon the at least one data packet, and a CRC checksum generated based upon the at least one data packet and the RS parity, performing CRC-decoding and RS-decoding on the RS frame, thereby correcting errors occurred in the corresponding mobile broadcast service data, extracting video data from the mobile broadcast service data, and decoding the extracted video data, wherein the video data includes data of a base layer and data of an enhanced layer and wherein the enhanced layer has a spatial resolution or an image quality different from that of the base layer.

摘要： A method for transmitting a broadcast signal is presented. The method includes. Building a Reed-Solomon (RS) frame corresponding to an ensemble of a service of mobile data, the RS frame being a 2-dimensional data frame through which the mobile data belonging to the ensemble are Reed Solomon-cyclic redundancy check (RS-CRC) encoded, dividing the RS frame into a plurality of portions, encoding signaling information, wherein the signaling information includes fast information channel (FIC) data and transmission parameter channel (TPC) data wherein the FIC data includes cross layer information between a physical layer and an upper layer, mapping data in one portion of the plurality of portions to data groups, formatting data packets having data in the data groups, and transmitting a transmission frame having a parade of the data groups, wherein the TPC data includes an identifier of the parade and version information of the FIC data.
