摘要： A box-shaped enclosure of a storage box includes a deadening wall or walls defining a storage space between first and second planes. The storage space is open at the first and second planes. A deadening wall member extends along the first plane. An auxiliary box-shaped enclosure is connected to the box-shaped enclosure so as to close the first plane of the box-shaped enclosure. The auxiliary box-shaped enclosure defines an auxiliary space isolated from the storage space with a deadening wall member. The storage space is connected to the fresh air through the ventilation opening and the auxiliary space. The deadening wall or walls of the box-shaped enclosure and the deadening wall member serve to prevent the leakage of the operating sound.

A cooling-medium circulation system circulates a liquid internal cooling-medium between a heat-absorbing part and a heat-radiating part, the heat-absorbing part absorbing heat from the heat-generating part, the heat-radiating part radiating the heat absorbed by the heat-absorbing part. The heat-radiating part of the cooling-medium circulation system includes a first heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between a liquid external cooling-medium and the internal cooling-medium, the external cooling-medium being supplied from outside the electronic equipment, and a second heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between an air and said internal cooling-medium, the air being exhausted from the housing to outside.

摘要： A support member is designed to move in the longitudinal direction in a rack mount type disk array apparatus. A frame member is attached to the support member for relative rotation around the rotation axis located between the front and rear ends of the frame member in the longitudinal direction. Recording disk drives are held within the frame member in an upright attitude. The recording disk drives can be removed from and inserted into the frame member in a facilitated manner. This leads to a facilitated replacement of the recording disk drives. Moreover, the upper face of the frame member is allowed to face forward through the rotation around the rotation axis. Even if the disk array apparatus is placed at a higher level, the operator easily accesses the recording disk drives in the frame member.
