Suggested is a method for transmitting a broadcast signal. A method for transmitting a broadcast signal according to the present invention suggests a system which can support a next-generation broadcasting service in an environment that supports a next-generation hybrid broadcast using a terrestrial broadcast network and an Internet network. In addition, suggested is an effective signaling method which is capable of encompassing a terrestrial broadcast network and an Internet network in an environment that supports a next-generation hybrid broadcast.

The present invention relates to a method and a device for transmitting and receiving a broadcast signal for an HEVC stream trick play. The method for transmitting a broadcast signal, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: generating a video stream by encoding video data, wherein the video stream comprises PVR assist information having the maximum temporal identification information value of the video stream; generating a broadcast signal comprising the generated video stream; and transmitting the generated broadcast signal.

The present invention relates to a broadcast signal transmitting device for transmitting broadcast signals, a broadcast signal receiving device for receiving broadcast signals, and a method for transmitting and receiving broadcast signals. The broadcast signal receiving device, according to the present invention, comprises: a receiving unit for receiving a three-dimensional television (3DTV) service video stream, which is frame-compatible with a video component, and broadcast signals which include signaling information for signaling the video stream, wherein the signaling information includes a first piece of information for indicating whether the video stream is in a frame-compatible 3DTV video format or a high definition television (HDTV) format, service type information which indicates whether a service type of the video stream is a high-efficiency video coding (HEVC) service, and a plurality of component descriptors which indicate the type of the HEVC service to the video stream; a signaling information processing unit for identifying the type of the video stream, based on the signaling information; and an output unit for outputting the video stream in the 3DTV video format or the HDTV video format, based on the type of the video stream.
