摘要： A fluid bearing system for journalling a rotatable shaft in which an annular housing is fixed about the shaft and is provided with an inlet for the supply of fluid under pressure. At least one bearing compression chamber is formed in the housing and/or the shaft and is distributed about the periphery of the shaft. The housing and the shaft form an integrated throttle control means in which a restrictor opening and a discharge opening is formed between the housing and the shaft for the flow through of fluid from the inlet. The openings are simultaneously varied relative to each other in an opposing manner as a function of the size and distribution of the load placed on the shaft.

摘要： In a hydraulically operable release arrangement for clutches, especially for vehicle clutches, the release force is transmitted to the plate spring or the like of the clutch by way of a piston, a fixed bearing ring, a multiplicity of rolling bodies, and a rotating bearing ring. The piston is movably arranged in a housing and is biased by a helical spring arranged in a pressure space formed between the piston and the housing. The piston and the housing are each provided with an axial projection. In order to secure the piston against rotation and to damp vibrations in the piston without additional machining or special parts, the helical spring is arranged with its spring ends abutting the axial projections such that rotation of the piston in the direction of rotation of the rotating bearing ring is prevented.

摘要： A torque transmitting assembly consisting of a shaft mounted in the housing and a plurality of rolling elements arranged in rows in the annular space between the shaft and the housing. The shaft has a series of axially extending grooves defining elongated inner raceways for the rolling elements. The assembly further includes a bearing race plate for each of the rows of rolling elements having an elongated raceway groove formed therein defining the outer raceway for the rolling elements. Each of the race plates has a layer of a plastically deformable material on the outer surface opposite the raceway and a series of screws mounted in the housing having a cupped point engageable with the deformable material to fix each of the bearing race plates in an axial and peripheral direction to thereby facilitate torque transmission from the shaft to the housing in either direction of rotation of the shaft.

The rolling bodies, which are inserted in the guide slot of the cage, are arranged to run serially in rows between the longitudinally directed races of the rail and shaft.In order that the rolling body for lengthwise movement can withstand the greatest load forces in the angular deviation and bending of the shaft, the rail consists of at least two partial rails individually tiltably supported in the bore of the housing and arranged adjacent one another in the lengthwise direction.

摘要： A rolling bearing for lengthwise movement along a shaft comprised of an outer sleeve having a plurality of races therein for rolling bearings, a cage being provided to guide the rolling bearings. A sealing ring is provided at each end of the assembly, the sealing ring having lips extending radially inwardly to contact the shaft. The sealing lips are thin and elastically bendable, and are mounted to enable bowing thereof into free spaces on opposite sides thereof, depending upon direction of lengthwise movement of the shaft. As a consequence, for small movements of the shaft, the sealing lips cling to the shaft and become bulged, rather than sliding along the shaft.

One of the cage parts is comb shaped, having axially extending cross-pieces adapted to be engaged by another cage piece, which may be a ring. Axially extending projections with enlarged ends are provided on the cage ring, at the inner circumference thereof, engaging correspondingly shaped recesses in the other cage part, thereby to enable snapping of the cage parts together. Recesses or projections are provided on the end of each cross-piece of the comb-shaped part, for engaging corresponding projections or recesses in the side ring of the cage, thereby to stabilize the cage in the circumferential and radial directions.

摘要： A self centering clutch thrust bearing has a damping ring between one bearing ring and the sliding sleeve of a housing. The damping ring has resilient projections positioned to engage recesses in the housing with play, to damp small turning motions, and larger projections positioned to engage other recesses in the housing with play, to damp larger turning forces. The resilient projections are mounted to be operative in damping the forces prior to the larger projections.This invention relates to self centering clutch thrust bearings, and more in particular to the provision of damping means in such bearings.
