Abstract:
One aspect of the present disclosure is a power-supply apparatus to supply an electric power to an electric working machine including a trigger switch, a motor, and a tool. The power-supply apparatus includes a connection detector, a trigger detector, and a signal outputter. In response to (i) the connection detector detecting connection of the electric working machine to the power-supply apparatus, and also to (ii) the trigger detector detecting an ON state of the trigger switch, the signal outputter outputs, to the electric working machine, a discharge prohibition signal prohibiting supply of the electric power to the motor, until an OFF state of the trigger switch is detected once by the trigger detector.
Abstract:
An electric powered work machine includes an inverter circuit, a power-source-side switching element, a power-source-side resistor, at least one circuit-side resistor, and a fault determiner. The power-source-side switching element is arranged between a direct-current power source and the inverter circuit. The power-source-side resistor is connected in parallel to the power-source-side switching element. The circuit-side resistor is connected to the inverter circuit in such a state that electrical conduction is possible between a positive side and a negative side of the direct-current power source in the inverter circuit in a case where semiconductor switching elements in the inverter circuit are all OFF. The fault determiner determines whether the switching elements are short-circuited based on a voltage at a connection point between the power-source-side switching element and the inverter circuit.
Abstract:
A battery pack is configured to supply electric power to an electric work machine, such as a power tool or outdoor power equipment. The battery pack includes a first battery-signal terminal and a second battery-signal terminal. The first battery-signal terminal outputs, to the electric work machine, a first signal indicating that discharging is to be prohibited or permitted. The second battery-signal terminal outputs, to the electric work machine, a second signal indicating that discharging is to be prohibited or permitted. Thus, two communication paths are provided for transmitting signals to permit or prohibit discharging of the battery pack.
Abstract:
A power tool includes a power tool housing accommodating a motor; a battery pack interface electrically connected to the motor and being configured to be physically and electrically connected to and disconnected from a power tool interface of a battery pack; and a wireless communicator configured to be attached to or detached from the power tool housing. The wireless communicator wirelessly transmits data between the power tool and an external device using radio waves. In addition, the power tool housing includes a receptacle opening configured to accommodate the wireless communicator within the power tool housing such that no part of the wireless communicator projects or protrudes beyond an outer surface or contour of the power tool housing.
Abstract:
A dust collector in one aspect of the present invention comprises a dust collection portion, a communication portion, and an interlock operation control portion. When the communication portion receives an interlock command transmitted from an electric working machine, the interlock operation control portion makes the dust collection portion operate interlocking with the electric working machine. The interlock operation control portion includes a storage portion, in which identification information specific to the electric working machine with which the dust collection portion is to be made to perform the interlock operation is stored.

Abstract:
A device of the present disclosure includes an electronic component, a metal plate, a housing, and a wavelength selective heat radiating member. The metal plate is thermally coupled to the electronic component. The housing houses the electronic component and the metal plate. The wavelength selective heat radiating member is mounted on a surface of the metal plate, so as to face an inner side surface of a specific portion of the housing. The wavelength selective heat radiating member is configured to convert thermal energy from the electronic component into heat radiation having a wavelength that penetrates the specific portion of the housing, and emit the heat radiation toward the inner side surface of the specific portion of the housing.
Abstract:
An information setting apparatus in one aspect of the present disclosure comprises a clock information device, an information receiving device, a permission time calculating device, and an information setting device. The permission time calculating device calculates an operation permission time based on current time information stored in the clock information device and on start time information received by the information receiving device. The information setting device sets operation limitation information, including the operation permission time to at least one of a battery pack or an electrically-driven working machine.
Abstract:
An electric power tool includes a wireless transmission unit and a transmission control unit that causes the wireless transmission unit to transmit a linking signal to a dust collector to thereby cause the dust collector to operate in a linked manner. An operation mode of the transmission control unit is shifted from a normal mode to a pairing mode by operation of an operation unit. When in the pairing mode, the transmission control unit causes the wireless transmission unit to transmit a pairing request signal to the dust collector. In this way, the electric power tool can be registered in the dust collector as a link target appliance.
Abstract:
A battery unit in one aspect of an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of cell assemblies, a positive electrode connection terminal, a negative electrode connection terminal, a plurality of switch sections, a control section, and a simultaneous on-suppression section. When an on-command signal is output from the control section to at least two of the plurality of the switch sections, the simultaneous on-suppression section performs one of enabling the on-command signal to one of the at least two switch sections and disabling the on-command signal to all of the at least two switch sections, so as to suppress the at least two switch sections from being turned on at the same time.
