The mud mixer further includes a first handle fixedly coupled to the tool body and extending from the tool body along a handle axis, a plane angled relative to the rotation axis and defined as an extension of the handle axis, and a second handle rotatably coupled to the tool body about the rotation axis and extending from the tool body in a direction parallel to the plane.

    Abstract: A power tool includes a housing, a motor supported within the housing, a handle extending from the housing, a trigger, a spindle, and a fluid delivery system. The handle defines a gap between the handle and the housing, and the trigger, coupled to the housing, is manipulable to energize the motor. The spindle is configured to rotate about a rotation axis in response to torque received from the motor, and the fluid delivery system is configured to supply fluid to the spindle. The fluid delivery system includes a valve operable to regulate a flow of fluid to the spindle, and the valve includes an actuator disposed within the gap.

    Abstract: A clutch mechanism is used in a rotary power tool having a motor. The clutch mechanism includes an input member to which torque from the motor is transferred and an output member co-rotatable with the input member. The output member defines a rotational axis. A cam surface is formed on one of the input member or the output member. First and second compression springs are carried by the other of the input member or the output member for co-rotation therewith. A follower has a circular cross-sectional shape and is biased against the cam surface by the first and second compression springs. In response to relative rotation between the input member and the output member, the cam surface displaces the follower along a line of action coaxial or parallel with each of the first and second compression springs. The line of action does not intersect the rotational axis.

    Abstract: A concrete vibrator includes a housing, a handle, an electric motor, a flexible shaft, a vibrator head, and a battery pack. The handle extends from the housing. The electric motor is coupled to the housing. The flexible shaft has a first end coupled to the motor and an opposite, second end. The vibrator head is coupled to the second end of the shaft. The vibrator head is configured to receive torque from the motor and the shaft to cause the vibrator head to vibrate. The battery pack is coupled to a battery receptacle defined on the housing. The battery pack is configured to provide electric power to the electric motor to drive the motor and the shaft. The concrete vibrator is operable in a briefcase configuration in which the handle is used to carry the concrete vibrator with the housing supported in a horizontal orientation.
