Abstract: A device that emits colored flames is disclosed. The device may include one or more electromagnetic coils within a housing. A fuel source may provide fuel such as hydrogen to an igniter at the input to the electromagnetic coil. The fuel may be ignited and a current may flow through the coil that may create a magnetic field. The ignited fuel may ionize creating an electric current that may accelerate the combusting particles through the coil. The current may create a magnetic field that may force the ionized particles into cyclotron orbits. Coloring additive such as salts may be added to the combusting fuel to provide color to the resulting flames.

Abstract: A water display is described having multiple water delivery devices that create laminar streams with parabolic trajectories. The water delivery devices may modulate the streams, which may be lit, creating individual water arches, that when combined with multiple water delivery devices, can produce dramatic visual effects including the appearance of an undulating and/or pulsed water tunnel.

Abstract: A water display is described having different layers that each include a geometric shape. Water is provided to and drained from the display to vary the height of the water between the layers of the display. As the water height increases or decreases from one layer to another, pools of water assuming the geometric shapes formed in a given layer appear. The geometric shapes formed in a given layer appear. The geometric pools of water transform shapes as the water is raised or lowered.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the construction, expression, and selection of genes that encode novel Trp cage polypeptides with desirable cell and/or tissue binding properties, as well as the novel Trp cage polypeptides themselves. A polypeptide of this disclosure may contain all or part of amino acid sequence AAADX1YX2QWLX3X4X5GPX6SGRPPPX7 (SEQ ID NO: 4), wherein Xn represents an amino acid found in position n, the polypeptide comprising a tryptophan cage (Trp cage).

Abstract: A child safety seat comprises a seat body having opposed side wall portions, a retention harness comprising opposed harness side portions, and a retention member carried on each side wall portion to connect and hold the latch of each harness side portion in a laterally spaced position from the other latch of the other harness side portion, which position is typically elevated relative to their position of use. This facilitates the placement of a child into the safety seat prior to latching the retention harness latches together.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for reducing drilling vibration during drilling with casing. In one embodiment, an apparatus for reducing vibration of a rotating casing includes a tubular body disposed concentrically around the casing, wherein tubular body is movable relative to the casing. Preferably, a portion of the tubular body comprises a friction reducing material. In operation, the tubular body comes into contact with the existing casing or the wellbore instead of the rotating casing. Because the tubular body is freely movable relative to the rotating casing, the rotating casing may continuously rotate even though the tubular body is frictionally in contact with the existing casing.

Abstract: A sound activated fountain display. A plurality of transducers are disposed on the bottom of the pool of a fountain display with the fountain being normally off. Whenever a coin is tossed into the fountain's pool, the sound waves generated by the coin are received by the transducers, activating the fountain display. By gating the responses of the various transducers, the area of the pool in which the coin was tossed may be identified. In this manner, the display may be caused to be directed to that area of the pool, customizing the display for that particular viewer. If desired, the fountain display may be in a central pool with separate "satellite" coin pools surrounding the fountain and for activating the fountain display.
