摘要: A controller for controlling a system is provided. The controller performs measuring variables via an interface to generate a vector of variables, providing a cost function, with respect to the system, based on the vector variables using weighting factors, wherein the vector variables are represented by a time-step, computing first-derivative of the cost function at an initial time-step, obtaining a convergence time from the first-derivative of the cost function, computing second derivative of the cost function and generating an optimization differential equation based on the first and second derivatives of the cost function, proceeding, starting with the initial time-step, to obtain a value of the optimization differential equation by solving the optimization differential equation, in an iteration manner, with a predetermined time step being multiplied with the value of the solved differential equation to obtain next vector variables corresponding to a next iteration time-step, until the time-step reaches the convergence time, and outputting optimal values of the vector of variables and the cost function.

摘要: A method for estimating a state of a battery determines, using a sensor, physical quantities of the battery indicative of a charge of the battery to produce a measured charge of the battery. The method also estimates the physical quantities of the battery using a model of the battery stored in a memory to produce an estimated charge of the battery and updates at least one parameter of the model of the battery to reduce a difference between the measured charge of the battery and the estimated charge of the battery. The method determines the state of the battery using the updated model of the battery.

摘要: A method controls an operation of an elevator system using a control law to stabilize a state of the elevator system using a tension of an elevator rope. A derivative of a Lyapunov function along dynamics of the elevator system controlled by the control law is negative definite. The control law is a function of amplitude of a sway of the elevator rope and a velocity of the sway of the elevator rope. The method determines the amplitude of the sway of the elevator rope and the velocity of the sway of the elevator rope during the operation, and determines a magnitude of the tension of the elevator rope based on the control law, and the amplitude and the velocity of the sway of the elevator rope.
