Abstract:
In a communication apparatus on a network where communication apparatuses perform direct communication with other apparatuses, a providing apparatus that provides communication parameters, and a reception apparatus that receives the communication parameters are determined based on information indicating the capabilities of communication apparatuses existing on the network, and a transfer direction of the communication parameters is notified to the providing apparatus and the reception apparatus thereby determined.
Abstract:
A high-frequency module is connected to a transmitting circuit, a receiving circuit, and an antenna to control the connections between the transmitting circuit and the antenna and between the receiving circuit and the antenna. The module includes means for controlling transmitted signals, which includes a first phase-shift circuit and a high-frequency amplifier provided between the antenna and the transmitting circuit. The high-frequency amplifier and the first phase-shift circuit are integrated into a module composed of a plurality of dielectric layers.
Abstract:
A wireless communication apparatus stores a plurality of cellular phones in an extension, connects a plurality of cellular phones to a base station, and sets up the communication speed of a communication channel to a base station according to the communication speeds of a plurality of the cellular phones. The wireless communication apparatus maintains the communication speed of a communication channel when a total sum of the speed of the communication which one of the plurality of cellular phones starts and the speed of the communication previously performed is equal to or less than the communication speed of the communication channel. An IMT2000 network stores the wireless communication apparatus and the base station corresponding to a plurality of cellular phones in a location registration database and processes incoming calls to a plurality of cellular phones according to the location registration database. Further, the IMT2000 network performs a location registration to a public network corresponding to a plurality of cellular phones (PHS, PDC).
Abstract:
In a liquid crystal display apparatus, sampling of an A-D converter for the purpose of capturing data from a touch panel is performed at a rate that is unrelated to the AC signal applied to the LCD, and data from the touch panel is captured in a regular manner in accordance with the sampling rate of the A-D converter. An added circuit detects the transformation points of the LCD AC signal and, based on a transformation point detection signal that is output by this circuit, data of the touch panel data sampled by the A-D converter that is affected by LCD noise is discarded, so that only data not affected by LCD noise is sent to a main memory.
Abstract:
The high-frequency component removing circuit is immediately started, and is not stopped unless the measurement value of the received electric intensity has maintained a value equal to or higher than the filter level for 1 sec after the high-frequency component removing circuit is started. Therefore, when the received electric intensity fluctuates around the filter level during a speech communication, the switching operation of repetitively starting and stopping the high-frequency component removing circuit is suppressed. As a result, the number of times of switching operations that repetitively start and stop the high-frequency component removing circuit is reduced, and the signal tone upon switching can be suppressed from mixing into the audio signal as noise in a speech communication. In addition, even when the received electric intensity fluctuates around the filter level, a speech communication environment that does not allow noise to easily mix can be obtained.
Abstract:
A radio communicating apparatus for communicating via a radio signal comprises: a connecting unit to connect a terminal and a communication channel; and a controller for controlling the connecting unit so as to disconnect the communication channel when a control signal indicating that the communication is being executed is not received at a predetermined timing.
Abstract:
A clock multiplier controls the frequency of an output clock signal according to the frequency of an input clock signal by means of two feedback loops. The first feedback loop, active during a fixed number of initial cycles of the input clock signal, counts cycles of the output clock signal during each cycle of the input clock signal, and controls the output clock frequency according to the resulting count values. The second feedback loop, used after the fixed number of initial cycles, divides the frequency of the output clock signal, and controls the output clock frequency according to the phase difference between the resulting divided signal and the input clock signal.
Abstract:
A cable anchoring apparatus for detachably attaching a wire cable to a movable member comprises a cable head fixed to the wire cable, a substantially semi-circular-shaped hook formed in the movable member and engageable with the cable head, and a retainer fixed on the movable member. The hook has a first slit and a space for accommodating the cable head. The retainer has an opening overlapped with the space, a notch for communicating the opening to an outside of the retainer, a pair of claws with a sufficient elasticity, and a second slit formed between the claws and communicated with the notch. The gap of the notch and the gap of the second slit are substantially equal to the gap of the first slit. A path is formed between an edge of the opening and the claws and is narrower than the diameter of the cable head. The claws extend distantly from the space.
Abstract:
An initially opening device for a vehicle sliding door comprises an output member rotated by a motor, a winch lever rotated from a stand-by position to an initial-open position, a connecting lever for connecting the output member to the winch lever, a press member provided in the sliding door and connected to the winch lever, a ratchet lever connected to a latch unit provided at rear portion of the door for engaging a striker fixed to a vehicle body, and a contact surface formed in the ratchet lever and brought into contact with the winch lever for rotating the ratchet lever when the winch lever is rotated toward the initial-open position. The press member is brought into contact with the vehicle body to move the rear portion of the sliding door in an initial opening direction when the winch lever is displaced from the stand-by position to the initial-open position.
Abstract:
An apparatus for transmitting power from a motor to a movable member comprises a drum connected to the movable member, a cam member rotated around a center shaft by the motor, a clutch member displaced from a standby position to a full engagement position through an initial engagement position when the cam member is rotated, a return spring for urging the clutch member from the full engagement position toward the standby position, and a brake member for applying a predetermined frictional resistance to the clutch member. The clutch member moves the brake member from a braking position to a non-braking position when the clutch member is moved from the initial engagement position toward the full engagement position. The cam member has a cam face which moves the clutch member from the standby position to the full engagement position and a holding face which disables the clutch member from returning from the full engagement position to the standby position.
