    摘要: A thermosensitive recording material comprising a thermosensitive layer provided on a substrate, and the thermosensitive layer comprises as main ingredients a leuco dye and a developer to make colored state of said leuco dye when heated, wherein the developer is an oligomer composition obtained from the reaction of a polyvalent isocyanate compound represented by following Formula (I) with an aromatic amine represented by following Formula (II); X(NCO)a  Formula (I) where X represents a try- or more-valent group, a represents an integer numeral of 3 or more, b and c represent respectively integer numerals in the range of 0 to 5 and they satisfy a relation of b+c=1 to 5, Z represents hydrogen atom, alkyl group, allyl group or aryl group, and the aryl group may include condensed ling structure thereof, and d represents an integer numeral in the range of 0 to 4. This developer shows excellent reliabilities of both image and background area, and also shows an excellent color-developing characteristics (color developing sensitivity and image density).

    摘要: A marking ink composition contains a dye, a pigment, a dispersion medium X in which the dye is practically soluble, and a dispersion medium Y in which the dye is practically insoluble, the dispersion media X and Y being mutually immiscible. A display medium includes a marking ink composition, and two plates for holding the marking ink composition therebetween, at least one of the plates having a transparent portion. A method for printing an image on an image receiving material includes the steps of depositing the above-mentioned marking ink composition on the image receiving material, and removing the dispersion medium X and the dispersion medium Y from the image receiving material. There is also described an image printed on an image receiving material by the above-mentioned printing method.

    摘要: A thermosensitive recording material has a support and a thermosensitive coloring layer formed thereon containing a leuco dye and a color developer capable of inducing color formation in the leuco dye upon application of heat thereto, with the color developer including at least one compound (A) having in a molecule thereof at least two aromatic ring moieties with specific structures, selected from the group consisting of an aromatic ring moiety having at least one carboxyl group and electron-attracting functional group, an aromatic ring moiety having at least one carboxyl group and electron-donating functional group, and an aromatic ring moiety having at least one carboxyl group, free of the electron-attracting and electron-donating functional groups. An aromatic carboxylic acid compound serving as the above-mentioned compound (A) and the producing method thereof are also disclosed.
