    摘要: There is provided a synthetic resin bottle in which an amorphous carbon film having good appearance without forming the brown mottled pattern on the surface thereof is deposited.The present invention provides a bottle having a mouth portion, a shoulder portion, a body portion and a bottom portion in which an amorphous carbon film is deposited on the inner surfaces of the mouth portion, the shoulder portion, the body portion and the bottom portion by supplying C2H2 gas. When the height position of the shoulder portion in the direction toward the mouth portion along the bottle axis from the position at which the inner diameter of the shoulder portion is maximal is within the area whose height is not more than 70% the total height of the shoulder portion along the bottle axis, the amorphous carbon film on the shoulder portion within the above range of height position is formed so that the thickness thereof is not less than 0.9 times but not more than 1.1 times the thickness at the shoulder portion having maximum inner diameter.

    摘要: The inventors discovered that the adhesion molecule CAR, known to be localized in intracellular adhesion sites, functioned as an adhesion molecule for activated lymphocytes. Further, the inventors identified CARL, a novel CAR ligand expressed in lymphocytes, and clarified that the ligand was expressed selectively in Th1 cells. In addition, they found that anti-CAR antibodies could inhibit the adhesion of activated lymphocytes to CAR molecules. Thus, the present invention provides methods for detecting Th1 cells using CAR or anti-CARL antibodies, and methods of screening for inhibitors suppressing the adhesion of Th1 cells using the binding between CAR and CARL as an index. Furthermore, the present invention relates to methods of screening for inhibitors of the binding between CAR and CARL, antibodies that inhibit the binding between CAR and CARL, and therapeutic compositions comprising these antibodies. These are expected to be useful in diagnosing diseases, such as inflammation, in which infiltration of Th1 cells is involved, and in providing pharmaceutical agents for alleviating such diseases.

    摘要: Disclosed is an illuminated switch device capable of effectively preventing light leakage between different light sources, thereby obtaining a good lighting quality, while reducing the overall size of the switch device. The illuminated switch device includes: a casing that has an open upper end and a partition wall provided therein and is formed on a bottom plate member having light sources and a push switch mounted thereon; and an operating body that has a light-shielding wall provided on the rear surface of an upper plate, is arranged so as to close the open end, and can be pressed. First and second illuminated regions to which light components are emitted from first and second light sources are provided on the upper plate. A protruding portion is formed at a leading end portion of a light-shielding wall, and a concave groove is provided at a leading end portion of a partition wall. The leading end portions are opposite to each other such that they can approach or separate from each other. At least a part of the protruding portion is arranged in the concave groove, and a gap is formed between the leading ends of the protruding portion and the concave portion.

The cover coating (2b) includes a layer positioned at a topmost side of the cover coating and possessing such a water repellency that the layer has a contact angle with water of 80° to 100°. The layers (2a, 2b) constituting the coatings, respectively, are each formed by vapor deposition and each have a refractive index in a range of 1.3 to 1.6.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing a plasma display apparatus includes bonding a panel to a sustaining board (chassis) with a sufficient bonding area. In a process of bonding the panel to the chassis, the panel is supported on the sustaining board (chassis) via a heat conducting sheet. Then the panel and the chassis are sandwiched between resilient pressuring boards, which are larger than the panel and the chassis. After that, a predetermined pressure is applied from at least one of the pressuring boards, thereby bonding the panel to the chassis via a heat conducting sheet.

A technical problem of this invention is to find a polyester resin which is suitable for heat and pressure resistant plastic bottles and which does not eat into productivity and is available at a low cost. The object of this invention is to provide a heat and pressure resistant plastic bottle that can be manufactured at a low cost and has pressure resistance at a high temperature and high impact strength. The means of fulfilling this object is a polyester resin comprising a major part of ethylene terephthalate units and containing at least one of minor copolymerizable components selected from a group consisting of isophthalic acid, cyclohexane dimethanol, and diethylene glycol, wherein three minor copolymerizable components have total content less than 3 mol. %.
